Impulse 100% Optimal FC (GH3 expert)

FC #55 originally. Activations at 0:48 (squeeze), 1:52 (squeeze), 2:56 (squeeze) and 4:11. My fourth optimal score. No hard squeezes in this one, although the first activation on the HOPO is a bit tricky to get used to. Many of the squeezes end on HOPOs, so that makes it a lot easier.

Great work! This song has been problem for me lately, I reeeeeeeeeeeally hate HOPO squeezing (which is also reason why my My Name Is Jonas score sucks balls). Any tips I could use?

Thanks! It took me a while to get used to fretting and activating at the same time (or fretting slightly later) instead of strumming and activating at the same time. One thing that I feel with HOPO squeezes is that they really break up the rhythm (more so than with regular squeezes). You can hear that my activation here was really deliberate and while playing it didn't feel like the activation was in the middle of a melody, but at the beginning of a new one. To me, at least.
For this particular song, I also activated one note later than any optimal charts I could find, because it makes the back end of the squeeze much easier.
But that's all I can think of. I'm still pretty new at this myself :-).
