Thanks for commenting David. I agree, the Latitude Cross was a tyre I was considering but it doesn't have 3PMSF rating for winter in Europe - otherwise it's a great choice.

I have an XC70 also, I ran with the original Scorpion STR , but I get my tyres used from Ebay , and Pirelli STR are getting hard to find and are quite old ,
This time I have gone for Vredestein Quatrac ,
