i think the clav in the original is layered with mj going "doo doo, doo doo (and then he seems to hum the low note)" just from knowing mj did a lot of his songs on tape as acapella demos
You actually did a great job bro! I think the best section of the remake was the bridge... the "one thing in life you must understand" section, almost sounded pound for pound like the original just slightly different voice pad. The only thing is during the last section "just promise me whatever we say.." theres a kick drum as well and the snare comes in just before "keep it in the closet" then the crash sound comes in. Sorry I'm a big MJ fan and a fan of this song so Im being really meticulous 😂 Then again I could never do what you did, props again to you bro.
okay, but how did he get to that level of notoriety? quincy jones had a lot to do with the momentum he had going into this project. the reality is that they were both elements of each other's continued success. I say this as a huge michael jackson fan.
@romulus_ please keep in mind that quincy Jones produced and worked with plenty other artists and none of them got to MJs level of success and notoriety. Not one
Always loved this beat. Drums are so funky and the little break parts with the beautiful strings going into the chorus "Something abouuuutcha baby!". Love it.
Living the dream. Walking home after work to a hot a meal. Listening to 2 kings. Dangerous was a killer. Im hoping i hear your vocals later in the video!
I been waiting for this! Everytime I see a new beat remake from Dilliot, my day brightens up fr haha, especially if its something from MJ Also, those oohs at the end were actually sung by Teddy Riley with a talkbox, they're not very loud in the mix but add a lot!
*Aht Aht! You Ain’t Use MPC 3 for this Workflow on the Key 61 🤣🤣🤣 I promise you it ain’t hard my g to maneuver. Still, You did a DOPE job here my g. Time to start a NU TRAP SWING era*
This was fun to watch.

Dangerous album is the best selling New Jack Swing album in history ... MJ showed the world he didnt need Quincy. Quincy needed him ...
PERIOD📍. Quincy gets way too much credit for MJs work
@@xabun it's not a New Jack Swing album. Dangerous, like all of Michael's work draws from elements of all different genres.
