I like the idea of restoring old tools. I have some I want to fix. Been a while since I looked through with that intention. I’m learning new stuff all the time and I never throw tools away. I did one time and I regretted it ever since. Other than a gift to my brother or my friends who work on their stuff. I had to leave a whole box of stuff in 2017. Ended up being stuff I hadn’t realized it’s use yet and can’t find them anymore. I lost a 1/2 drive ratchet and 6 point socket sets when somebody got in my tools when I had to store them in a house I was renting out. My friend was supposed to keep the box locked unless they were using it but I see how that went. I was lucky it was just the overflow 1/2 drive stuff because the 3/8 and 1/4 were locked in the box next to it. I keep a close watch on my stuff now.
