Thank you, Robert. Yes. It is rare to find something so good. Literally 2 days in a row in early January here. I hope that this is a glimpse of a great year.
I have been looking at these Stompers lately. There going for $50 bucks in my neck of the woods. Who would have ever thought. I had all of them when I was a boy. One of my favorites.
Thank you, Nebraska rancher. I really appreciate it. I appreciate you stop a pie. Yes, these knives are fantastic. Can you imagine the time spent to make these? They're absolutely beautiful. Thanks again and have a great day
Check out these surplus spoil. Olive oil cans. Apparently they're not as rare as I was hoping it would be, and they're just built so nicely. They're pretty easily found and they actually have a canvas cover for them. Mine is missing
Thank you, Jim. That compass was crazy, cool right? And that little bitty camp knife. I have the jumbo one. They're also both made from Japan. I have a feeling that maybe that's the same manufacturer that make the little tiny one.
Yes. It's a combination of both flea markets can be a mixture of dealers that have stores in sales. Booths all over the county and then they bring their surplus to the flea markets. Also, flea markets can be weekenders. That just want to clean out their stuff, but don't want to take it to donation. That usually happens in the summer in the wintertime. It's mostly dealers so you have to watch out and kind of make your purchases between the lines because some of the pricing can be market value, you might find something nice at market. Value that you're perfectly fine with. Sometimes it's nice to have it in your hand and look at it before you actually try to buy the same from ebay. That in itself is not a bad thing. But there are also dealers that are also priced Way too high, even for what things shold be . I don't usually go to the flea markets in the summer in the summer time. Because I would rather go to garage sales and a estate sales
tHank you @@doinsngoins A very clear explanation of how things work. I too like the garage sales and estate sales. Only I go to the better parts of town where people are trying to empty a house or " not haul it back inside ". Have a great week ahead. I imagine January may be a slow month.
@Dancing_Alone_wRentals yes. It is very unusual to have not only nice estate but then a back to back run at the swap meet in the same month this early in the year. I sell at least 2/3 of the stuff I bring in so right now, I'm short on inventory. This sets me up really good for spring. Actually, let me make that a little more clear if you take everything I bring in. 1/2, I sell 1/4 I keep , the remaining quarter doesn't sell. HAAAHAA
I hoped you'd get that Coleman jug. If I remember right, my grandma had a flour and sugar bin where she would put the bulk bags inside in her kitchen and it had scoops like that Irving scoop. I figured you would have gotten that Coleman 530 I saw in the video 😂 now let's talk about that stadium chair. I would strip it down, powder coat the frame for whatever school, embroider the school logo into some marine vinyl to counter the color of the frame, then rewrap the pad with the logo vinyl. I really love doing boat upholstery, but I really love making customized stuff with vintage seats, and have even done some crazy barber chairs
That sounds amazing. Yes, the jug had to come home with me. Especially for 5 box the box I think is worked then, but here's the deal on the chair. That's probably too much work for me, buddy. Also, the coleman stove was 125 , which? You know, it's probably what it's worth, but I can't pay that. Thank you for the ideas and sharing your memories about the scoop. The scoops really cool and yes. I remember appointed scoop like that also. If you look at it, really close it. Almost looks like it was a spoon at 1 time and they cut it off and rolled it. Because there's not even a hole. You know where you would normally hang a scoop. It's just curled over.
Love that compass 😍 Steve that tube of putty I gave you at Turkey Foot will patch that little hole in the one little long hand,e pan. Love the fry pans 😍, hey buddy start up fry pan Friday 🤗 you got it going Love the ham can and velveta box Heck yeah on the blue jug 👍🏻 Now get a Coleman sticker on that bad boy stadium chair, that is super cool and would work on a picnic table to sit on with back rest Ohhhh yeah the green box 🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 coffee kit or little cook kit in my thoughts Love the marbles AND DUDE THAT KNIFE 😍 AWESOME! Now ya just need to make ya a sheath for it OOOOOOOOHHHH YOU GOT THE OO CONTAINER 🤩🤩🤩 that’s awesome! I would make it a water canteen 😄 Very cool wood knife, definitely a James kinda piece. Whoa 🤯 an entire set 😵 BOMB !!!! It a great video and GREAT SCORES !!! 🙌🏻 So glad you had a great weekend, and praying you have a great week my friend ❤️🔥🙏🏻🤟🏻

Wow 👌 Great finds Steve. You did well not to bring home the gas lanterns and the coleman in a can 😂 I wouldn't have been so strong. Thanks for sharing 👍
Ex scout and adult leader here. The neckerchief slide is most likely made as part of the whittling merit badge. The compass game is a fun training tool. It looks like it was the type I used in the 1970s. Your pail is for hanging in a barn/shelter as a water pail for horses/etc. You did quite well and found some unique items. 👍🏻😄🇺🇲
It's fun , the best feeling is when you lets say sped 100 , you buy 50 items, and 3 items bring you back the initial 100+ right away , I call those " Anchor Items " this allows me to Squirrel away a few things for collections and what not , and to sell the rest with little to no management necessary.
Oh man Steve everything is just to cool..sure we can tie a few flys. Maybe we can try our hand @ trout fishing.. now those carved knifes oh my what a find beautiful just beautiful. Thanks for the S.O. you guys are just to cool 😎.
Thank you, James. I knew you would love them. I have all the stuff that I was bringing. You also to Turkey foot still in my Van. I will bring it in the fall. I got a big old sock of goodies for you.
@@doinsngoins ,,man oh man you got a good deal on the Knife,, some of the hand made knifes are selling for high dollar$$, will make you a Great Camp knife for sure,,,
So much cool things too many to mention them all ! Awesome scores ! I loved the compass , both knives . That oilive oil can is gonna be sweet , and how can you go wrong with powerslave ? You picked up a nice bit for the booth as well , hope you have a good week Steve
Just wanted to let you know the 4x4 Rallye battery operated you have is not a Stompers. It is a LJN Rough Riders. Similar to a Stompers. Stompers were made by Schaper not Schrader as you mentioned. LJN's do not have the same following and value as Stompers.
Thank you, Bob. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge here on my channel. Yes, I was thinking that maybe this company had acquired schaper. The quality sure is not the same. That's for sure. It's still a pretty cool little toy. So far I got the headlights to work. But I can't get the voter to engage and I. Checked the gears the gears. Look, all good and the motor does spin. But it's not making any electrical contact. Anyway. I really appreciate it. Thank you for sharing that information. It's good to know. Have a good week okay bob
I have been looking at these Stompers lately. There going for $50 bucks in my neck of the woods. Who would have ever thought. I had all of them when I was a boy. One of my favorites.
Rob, you're not gonna believe it but one time. I found a dozen of them at a sale for like probably under five bucks for the whole lot, I kept 2 of them. They're on my shelf but I think I got two hundred or better for the rest of them. Any 80s and 90s toys. Better quality are worth good money these days.
Yes $10 , had to have it , the style seems very current, I want strip that varnish off the handle and oil it 😀, try my hand at sharpening. I hope you had a great day Rob
Great start to a new year.
Thanks for sharing and God bless.

Don't you hate when that happens. You wake up and life is good...then you find something you just must have. That compass is super cool.
It's c. Through. Do you think that that is for setting on a map in being able to look through it???

Really cool stuff.
The prices seem really good. Where does all the good stuff come from? Are people cleaning out houses? Have a super week everyone!
