- 2020 has been a shocking year, but we managed to get together once again to taste some secret bottles for our annual Christmas blind tasting! We are at Peckham Cellars in south London, who like many other restaurants and bars around the world have had to rapidly adapt their businesses to survive in ever changing, uncertain circumstances. Pull up a glass and find out what our guests have brought to add some Christmas cheer to 2020!

how was the pacalet
Hi Gerhard, this is Derek. The Pacalet was delicious! I love Pacalet’s wines. He is famous for his reds, obviously, but his white burgundies are amongst my favourites, and this cremant is full of vibrant energy and ripe fruit flavours.
It’s not champagne, but definitely a fun fizz. 80% Aligote with the rest Pinot Noir- not necessarily what you expect but delicious, and would have been great to serve blind in this tasting! 🍾🙈👏🏻
