I'm a simple man. I see Andre; I click. This video came out at the perfect time, too. I've been wondering what kind of wine I should bring to the friendsgiving. The only thing this video is missing is what wines to cook with these up and coming holidays.
You guys hit it with this series. One of the main attractors to this series is the way Andre just tells it like it is with the wine. Wine doesn’t have to be this extravagant thing, he does a great job with showing how casual and inviting wine can be for for new comers and wine fans alike.

I totally agree, I'm not into wine but I love good quality whiskey. If I give some a pour of expensive whiskey, "this is a special one" is what I usually say haha. Though I don't usually give expensive whiskey to inexperienced people since they won't appreciate it. I know I wouldn't have years ago. People who are into what they're drinking will know a special one.

I would love to see Andre review alcohol-free/alcohol-removed wines! I'm always curious about a sommelier's opinion regarding these options since I love wine but cannot drink alcohol for health reasons and want to have quality alternatives. Great video!

Their Platinum Reserve line wines are typically excellent. $15 bottles that taste more like $30-$40 bottles. Love their Carneros Pinot Noir and their Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon.
If you are going to spend $15-20, go to a wine shop where their selection is finer and not mass produced (at least not on the scale that Trader Joe's is). On one of his videos, he had an Adelante Malbec that you can only find at wine shops that is exceptional and very inexpensive.
I just discovered Andre last night, and I'm already done watching all his videos. I deeply appreciate his advice... He has a "protective brother" personality that makes shopping for wine not so intimidating. I can't wait for more videos.

I wonder if Andre knows that for a lot of people, myself included, that he is what we picture when we think about what a sommelier is. I think he should be proud of that.

What a superb and dead honest presentation. I have binge watched some of your down to earth, friendly and informative videos. Excellent. I am not sure I would appreciate the chardonnay at the end...but certainly fit the profile.
I'd like to see a video guiding people through some of the less well-known wine regions such as in Lebanon, Hungary, and Azerbaijan, all of which make excellent products.
