- Hello NAVE crew! We just start the new playlist, answering a quite common question that they have been asked me straight away: "Adriano, I want to do graduation in Anaesthesia!" But... which graduation do you want to do?
In this playlist we gonna talk about what a Veterinary anesthesiology residency program is, how to find out the best residency program, what you have to do to get into, what you will find when there and a bunch of other information.
In this first video, we gonna explain the differences between the strictu sensu post-graduation, i.e., master's and PhD, and the lato sensu, which includes Veterinary Medical Residency and other courses.
Master's and PhD are aimed at professionals who really want to dedicate themselves to research and/or follow a teaching career. These programs are very important in training this professional, but they may not be suitable for someone who has just finished a vet medicine course and, therefore, has not so much practical experience in the area.
In this case, the best thing to do is to look for a Veterinary Residency Programs, which generally is about 1 to 2 years of intense clinical practice. These programs guarantee an excellent load of practical activities, being every time tutorial by experienced professionals, whom will certainly help you become a good professional.

Existe algum lugar que com editais para residência ? E valido prestar Enare ?
Olá! ENARE é o "famoso ENEM/SISU" das residências. Quase todos os programas de residência das universidades federais fazem o processo seletivo em cima do ENARE. Se você quer prestar residência nessas universidades, tem que prestar ENARE. Sobre os outros editais, depende muito dos lugares. Aqui, por exemplo, nosso edital de 2024 foi lançado em dezembro de 2023, com provas em fevereiro, para iniciar em março. Tem que ficar ligado nos lugares ok? Abraços!
