    Bro good to see you enjoy for all of us who dont sail right now. But i must comment once and for all about you raising the main every time!
    To proper raise you need to face the wind with the bow, relese the main sheet and only then start pulling the haliyard and raise the main sail! it prevent the sail chafing on the lines and the sliders wont have a pressure on one side. And if you on anchor, raise the main first and then pick up the anchor, after you start sailing, you can pull out the jib.

    If you’re putting stainless pop rivets in aluminium without tefgel… you’re asking for some serious galvanic corrosion.

    not a bad idea to have your main unwrapped and ready to raise coming into port, incase of engine failure

    Brioche is French sugar bread. So a croissante-brioche is a butter and sugar layered bread. Sounds nice! Big time calories.

    Since you are solo you might consider putting fold-up steps on the mast so if you have to get up there alone you still can.

    Huub, I've got a question.. these people who bring dogs aboard their boats where do they go to the bathroom. I understand that you can take them ashore but nobody is going to take the dog ashore every few hours and what about when you're underway and no land is insight??? I suppose some dogs are trainable to 💩 over the rail but I definitely wouldn't want to be having poop or urine on my boat

    • @HuubVlogs

      yes on a specific place on the boat and the owners clean it after

    I like Keiths idea of using half aluminum and half stainless steel rivets. You wrote the names of the contents on the top of the cans and also took off the labels? Note to self: after replacing rivets check to see that the sail goes up and down smoothly. Nice relaxing video today.

    • @HuubVlogs
      @HuubVlogs  Год назад

      Thanks a lot Chuck, hopefully many more relaxing videos to come hahahaha. yeah taking the labels off because of potential cockroach eggs behind them. Don't want them ever again on the boat!!
