Now we can all breathe. I was worried about the storm and your safety and reunion from Daniela's trip home. Your smiles at the end say everything. Glad you're home Daniela. Be safe both of you.
Hey Huub, thanks for taking time to say thanks to us for being supportive. I honestly feel like I’m really starting to get to know you guys and I was completely stressed about her flying back so glad you’re back together.
I was so happy to see the two of you back together! I love seeing your videos and keeping up with what's up with you! Keep it coming and sharing your news so honestly!
Huub and Daniela, So glad you both are safe. Was a bit worried you were still in Grenada. What a hassle with all the immigration stuff. Gotta be a better system that's consistent throughout the area. What beautiful smiles you both had seeing each other. You two are doing what we dreamed of 35 years ago and never did. We are looking at sailing again in retirement. Safe sailing , keep the heavy side down, but not too far down.
Hi Huub and Daniela. Great to see you together again. Crazy drama you had to deal with, with signing the crew back on. Glad that the worst of the hurricane missed you. Thanks again for sharing. Take care.
I’m glad you two are ok. I’m saying a prayer for those who were hit and have lost everything. I’ve survived well over a dozen hurricanes living in Florida. Some were a bunch of nothing and one destroyed the roof of my house. All were very stressful !
Glad you guys are back together. That 1st Immigration officer was just trying to show that she was the boss of you. In Trinidad slang, "She was real feeling herself" Keep posting the great videos and stay safe.
So glad you went to Trinidad for the hurricane. I spent 6 months there on my sailboat some in the boat yard some at anchor. I met some very nice cruisers there. Glad you are safe & happy. God bless, take care. S/V Cork~Texas ⛵🐬💖🌴
Yall I am happy for you both 😊. It is terrible what happened North of you. I will definitely be looking forward to seeing the Video update. Beryl is just a few 100 hundred miles West of Fairhope fighting to stay offshore and not move inland. -Cliff Fairhope, Alabama
Huub I’m glad that Daniella made it back with you. I think you’re a little lost without her. Why don’t you just marry her so maybe you don’t have any more problems and immigration and customs. She definitely has improved your life
@@SOLDOZER Calm down. "The "worst" idea? Hardly. A year isn't all that unusual, anyway. Plus they've lived together on that boat for a while now and it's not a bad way to "practice" the real thing... What's a simp, by the way?
It doesn't matter if you've been together for one year or ten years. Life can always change. And finding a woman who loves all this is probably the best thing that can happen. So yes, I would, too. In fact, I have also done that with my wife (who is Brazilian). But remember, she will not get a Dutch passport directly anyway, so it just improves the situation a bit. Believe me, I know what it means from my own experience ;)
I look forward to your videos every week. When you were transferring your outboard motor to your dinghy, I wondered why outboard motors don't have more easy to use handles.
H&D - Good to see the reunite happened fairly easily after all, and that the worst you got from the storm was getting bounced around a bit. Keep up the great work, stay honest, and keep smiling! There are good things in your future!!! Peace! :D
I am watching the in Lake Jackson on the Texas coast. Beryl is supposed to hit me at 2AM. I am so glad you guys are OK. My Beryl story is yet to be determined. I am prepared and should be fine. Godspeed Lemonada.
Great stuff you are back together ...immigration is a hassle but you did the right thing and stepped back from getting argumentative and it all just worked out...way to go ..you got my cheers for a situation well handled..👌💪😃
To me the night sailing seems so cool but also scary depending on the weather and traffic. But in calm sea and traffic very cool. Also a fantastic adventure. Cheers ⛵🍻
Hey Huub, love your content. Keep it up, and safe travels! I'm from Trinidad and Tobago, and just imagine living here and having to endure that and more inane red tape to get anything processed!
Huub & Daniella, So glad you were able to avoid that awful hurricane! Too bad that your frustrations were caused by “people “ and largely artificial. Thank you for updating us. Enjoy that pizza & movie and forget about that other stuff. I have made improvements to my 30’ Albin Balland and I’m gaining experience now in the Chesapeake Bay. I hope to venture your way in the not too distant future! R/ Jim Grigsby Virginia Beach
Good night, Huub. I just found your channel and subscribed. I absolutely 💯 love your content. I'm so happy that Danielle got through with immigration. Stay positive and keep the faith when life gets difficult. 🙏
I'm sorry you and Daniela had to go through that with immigration, our system here in T&T can sometimes be very frustrating. Love watching your videos though. All the best to you guys
Huub what a nightmare that was dealing with Immigration! Here's an easy solution: propose to Daniela, get married, Dani gets an EU passport...problem solved!
Well I'm so glad that you weathered the storm, and that Daniella made it thru immigration without too many issues.both of you seemed released that the two of you are back together,again..
Where did you find her???? Daniela is so sweet and such a good first mate. You are a lucky man, and she is a lucky woman. I can tell you respect her very much, and from personal experience, I can tell you that respect is as important as love. I've been watching you for a while and was wondering how you did during Beryl. I'm glad you guys are safe. I look forward to my adventures. Safe sailing.
Now we know why sailing in squalls and storms is much more pleasant than getting put down by buraucrazy. The dingy motor: this was more stressful than at the harbour office! NB: Just use a line in case the motor goes on a dive :-)
Thanks for saying thanks! I hope my views and comments attract more views and comments. You're sincere and likable people, thanks for opening up your life for people who can't be there...yet, 2 more years until I retire!
I’ve been watching your channel for a while and I enjoy it. I’m from Guyana and I had a business that made garments for export and I would have to visit Trinidad twice a year and every time I went there I had a problem with immigration they are totally power drunk jerks I would get so mad that I always have to ask for a senior supervisor, they are the worse in the Caribbean. Sorry you had to experience that stress.
they don't call them "Trickydadian's" for nuthin. P.S hope y'all get to Tobago and visit some Great beaches! Tobago is really nice, enjoy. Also, the "Bake and Shark" at Maracas Beach in Trinidad is a must taste delight
You NEED to use a safety line when moving your dingy motor on & off the ship!!!! Learn BEFORE you drop it. Also a short safety line or wire when it is on the dingy.
Daniella is a sweetheart and a trooper! Huub you’re a lucky man.. hindsight is always 20/20. Enjoy your videos and your take on things.. not my approach per se but it’s nice to see things from a different perspective, much appreciated. I also concur with Andy Morrison 5901… I don’t think too many women would put up with you in some respects..🤣 You guys be safe and enjoy yourselves .. great fun to watch and learn a bit as well. Best wishes!!
Huub reference your rolling in anchorages.... Did you not see my lengthy comment on making flopper stoppers to hang from your main boom and jib boom. This would make your life in a rolly anchorage so much more comfortable. If you missed my comment I'm happy to repeat. They are so simple to make. David
Tighten lifelines around the deck? Put the Highfield on davits instead of having it flopping against hull and chainplates. Enjoy life with a caring partner. Glad you survived officialdom - Daniella's smile would help.
Hello, I stumbled on your videos. I'm sailing a bit and dream of getting a trimaran. Is Grenada a good place to find a deal perhaps? If so, any leads on where to look?
I was wondering about you and if you were able to escape the hurricane or not. Do you know anyone that was caught up in the hurricane and lost there boat?
You say you are still learning but yet you are smarter than all of those people that stayed in St Vincent and the Grenadines, Carriacou and Grenada. You did the RIGHT thing. Get out of there to almost guaranteed safety………TRINIDAD. I love Trinidad anyway. Sorry for all the the immigration problems. I made this trip both ways at least a dozen times. Also sailed to Colombia, loved Cartagena! Wonderful people. You should talk to UMA and Zatara. They have a lot of experience in this issue.
Now we can all breathe. I was worried about the storm and your safety and reunion from Daniela's trip home. Your smiles at the end say everything. Glad you're home Daniela. Be safe both of you.

Glad you guys are safe!
Like everything in life , it takes the 4 P's - planning, patience , persistence , and providence
Great stuff and glad you are both back together. 👍
Glad you both are safe and doing well. Funny enough Beryl is heading right my way now...Bringing everything inside to wait it out.
I wish good luck to you!
Glad she made it back safe.

Pfff, I was scared for whatever could happen again !!!
That seems to be a trait found in many immigration officers worldwide. Power hungry people with a Napoleon complex.
Keep up the positive vibes brother 🙏appreciate your video style ✅safe travels 🌅
thank you!

Marrying someone you barely know is the worst idea ever. Most marriages end in divorce as is, best to wait several years before such a commitment.
