    This video is WAY more instructive for a 3-3.5 level that your typical, "Learn from the pros" video. I have NO aspiration to be pro. I want to be a smart consistent 4.0-4.5.

    instead of forehand to forehand - maybe it's even better to switch to (my) forehand to opponent's backhand rally?

      If you and your opponent are both right (or left)-handed, you would be going down the line, which is a smaller target and more difficult to be consistent. If the down the line shot did not do enough damage, your opponent can play a backhand cross-court and stretch you. So unless your opponent's backhand is a big weakness, it is not likely to be the best strategy.
