More likely reason that he would help Deku imo is that Deku HASN’T brought him to his gramps… yet. Then again, if he gets his arms back, he could just go back to his old ways.
I don't think so. The only way he can help is if eri will give him his arms back and I don't see it happening. Never. The only reason she might do it is for him to fix her grandpa, which, after more training. She'll easily be able to do herself. So it's very easy for her to go "I'll save him myself". If you replay the footage you can see that the mass that forms his bigger legs is raw muscle yet he somehow has intact clothes and skin when captured by the heroes. As this was his last visible transmutation before getting knocked out, this means that he was able to create his regular legs clothes and all without needing to make physical contact with his hands to that matter.
while overhal helping in the fight would be fun, I think it's more likely enri is gonna restore one or both of his hands so the dude could save dekus life from something that even she can't undo, like shigarokys decay quirk becomes so potent that even reverting something to a state prior to decay will still decay or the decay is so great that enri is only able to hold it at bay rather than stop it. think about It, he's quirk rewrights the molecular structure what he touches, even being able to bring someone back to life if he does it soon enough after there death, he could basically counter the decay with enri to save deku.

Yeah I believe the role of Overhaul in the story isnt over yet. I wonder, will we see Stain helping Deku in his battle against Shigaraki or helping Todoroki in his battle against Dabi? A single drop of blood is all what Stain needs to temporally paralyze any opponent for a few minutes
I think it would be cool to see overhaul back. The only problem is the loss of his arms but perhaps that can be healed by Eri just for the final war. However, what roll would he play in the final war. Honestly, his quirk is so versatile he can do whatever he wants. He can play offense, turning the very ground into a weapon. He can play defense where he uses the ground or surroundings into snares and traps. He can play medic, deconstructing people and reconstructing them healed. It really would be up to him. If he came back, personally he would be an asset against all for one. Firstly because Shigaraki's decay is a counter to overhaul. Second, overhaul would be an asset in the fight against all for one because the heros don't need to kill him, they just need to stall him till rewind takes him out for them
There is so much stuff they could do if overhaul were to side with deku and if he straight up owes deku than it could open a gateway to one of the series biggest redemptions/character development.
After being saved by people who taught her what smiling feels like I'm sir she'd forgive him she has a kind heart, I'm sir that is what would make the tide turn for overhaul seeing what heroes could do for a child knowing what he did to her and she still forgives him I'm sir he would see what the real meaning of a hero is and he'd want to be a part of it even if it one time and he gets locked back up but even more so if it gets him pops back, I’m positive if that happens he’d die happy knowing it was something he chose to do fighting along side the person who will shape the meaning of the word “Hero”. He wanted to shape the world to how having heroes isn’t a necessity and it’s a delusion “hero syndrome”. If Eri forgives him which I’m sure she would, how amazing would the eye opener of what the effect of what a heroes cause shapes a person a freaking kid who he did the possible worst. Now that my friends would be beautiful story telling
You do realize there was a condition to him honoring Lady Nagants deal right? The condition was him apologizing to Eri and since that hasn't happened, neither has Chisiki going to Pops. Maybe this will happen in the end, but Chisiki isn't saving Midoriya
Having overalls Court like evolved so that it works on his feet would be awesome or like he gets some sort of cybernetic arms that have his like I don't know previous on it or something would be awesome but just the thought of overalls Powers just awesome because like imagine touching the air and it all turning solid on you like that would be awesome just imagine getting touched on the shoulder and then being turned into stone the way they misused this guy's power in the anime has me so mad but like he has so much potential but none of it is used
What if when shigaraki destroys mount fugi so lava goes all over Japan overhaul comes and rebuilds the mountain. (Don’t ask me how he gets arms it’s just a theory
An interesting theory, but if we’re talking about him owing Deku a favor, he most likely needs his hands back, and that brings Eri and her rewind quirk into mind.
Imagine him getting his arms back, and with that his quirk awakens into being able to manipulate air with the same lethality as solid objects or people
Not going to lie that would be an awesome rematch overhaul getting his payback on shigiraki just like how lady Nagant is getting her pay back on all for one.😂
Ya know, logically speaking, Overhaul doesn’t NEED his hands. His quirk is still in his body meaning he can technically still use it but chances are, he’s never taken the time to figure out a different way to utilize it other than his hands. His quirk is the ability to “disassemble anything he touches as wella as reassemble it in any configuration he desires” it never says anything about it having to specifically be his hands he likely just only used his hands because it was the most convenient and only way he knew how to. So in theory, he could use any part of his body to use his quirk. Just a thought tho
But as long he doesn’t harm Eri again and I think he should apologize to her but it’s going hard because what if he met Lemillion again because…. You know he kill Sir Nighteye

Overhaul: need a hand. *wheeze*
Stains dead. Atleast i’m pretty sure he is. At the very least, he doesn’t have his quirk anymore because All For One stole it.
Bro really wanted that raise💀💀
This guy shouldve been the main villain what a incredible power he has
I think it would be cool to see overhaul back. Second, overhaul would be an asset in the fight against all for one because the heros don't need to kill him, they just need to stall him till rewind takes him out for them
I like this theory but at the same time it’s funny to imagine Overhaul help Deku JUST to spite Shigaraki’s
Mirio okay saving until MY MAIN MAN OVERHAUL COMES OUT HELL YEAH
One thing I know from reading manga and watching anime. If the protagonist makes a promise, they will deliver one way or another.
Just use your feet too repair your arms ; Overhaul
I also want to see Mr. Smiley to get in the battlefield.
Im pretty sure horikoshi confirmed that overhauls quirk still works
Well yeah, his quirk factor is still in him, but unless he has a quirk awakening, he can't use it without his hands.
Just use his feet smh
@Showdown It isn't confirmed that he can do that. That's why I said, "Unless he has a quirk awakening."
There is so much stuff they could do if overhaul were to side with deku and if he straight up owes deku than it could open a gateway to one of the series biggest redemptions/character development.
Imagine Overhaul just sticks his toes into his gramps mouth to wake him up
LOL
What was cut out of the anime? I remember seeing everything you cover?
Deku said he would only do this if overhaul apologized to eri, which i could never imagine actually happening
I've been thinking Overhaul will return and deku keeps his promises.
I was wishing for an overhaul comeback, sad this didn't happen
Overhaul: Hello eri mind rewinding my arms
Imagine he comes to help Deku, literally gets beaten in 2 seconds and get his quirk stolen and thus making Shigaraki even stronger.
It would so dope if chisaki shigaraki and deku fight it would be awesome
They did
I’m just imagining his quirk evolving to be used throughout his body and fucking up shigaraki after getting his arms back
He actually got the yakuza destroyed with his actions, and he was also an orphan in all for ones fake orphanage.
He is a villain because he got very angry when they cut his backstory out of the anime
And Overhaul is shown to be someone who heavily believes in repaying favours. And the favour Deku did for him he may see as much more.
What can he do to help him he dosend hawe eny arm's
You do realize there was a condition to him honoring Lady Nagants deal right? The condition was him apologizing to Eri and since that hasn't happened, neither has Chisiki going to Pops. Maybe this will happen in the end, but Chisiki isn't saving Midoriya
I come from future. The theory was wrong
Final arc?! There has to be more!
How did he help with no arms and completely traumatized?
Mr. Compress or Eri
It’d be kinda poetic if eri rewinds overhaul just to help deku.
Ngl i really think that overhaul is the man that can counter shigarakis decay like his powers like time dissapear and appear 😭
An interesting theory, but if we’re talking about him owing Deku a favor, he most likely needs his hands back, and that brings Eri and her rewind quirk into mind.
Imagine him getting his arms back, and with that his quirk awakens into being able to manipulate air with the same lethality as solid objects or people
im curious manga readers do tell did overhall and eri meet again?
No
A handless man that literally looks like that one man that has a white van that says free Candy helping a pro at breaking bones? Well that’s strange!
İmagine, Eri saved Chisako's arms, Chisaki fuse himself with on of the HighEnd Noumu and fight.
What arc you talking about?
Not going to lie that would be an awesome rematch overhaul getting his payback on shigiraki just like how lady Nagant is getting her pay back on all for one.😂
Well that was disappointing
Ya know, logically speaking, Overhaul doesn’t NEED his hands. His quirk is still in his body meaning he can technically still use it but chances are, he’s never taken the time to figure out a different way to utilize it other than his hands. His quirk is the ability to “disassemble anything he touches as wella as reassemble it in any configuration he desires” it never says anything about it having to specifically be his hands he likely just only used his hands because it was the most convenient and only way he knew how to. So in theory, he could use any part of his body to use his quirk.
Just a thought tho
Doesn’t mr.compress still have overhauls arm as a souvenir or something overhaul might get his arm back from that who knows 😅
But as long he doesn’t harm Eri again and I think he should apologize to her but it’s going hard because what if he met Lemillion again because…. You know he kill Sir Nighteye
Omg that would be so...
@@alexcirstea5279 I know difficult… is Mirio going be okay with this?
@@TonyStark-zz2vt No cause Lemillion will never be okay with this and will never forgive Overhaul for what he did to Nighteye and let’s not forget what if Ryukyu meets him too and she’ll probably feels the same way
Mirio is a hero who was a candidate for One for All. His heroic heart, and his honour as a hero would be head and shoulders above the rest. He won't like it, but if he thinks it would help more people than it would sacrifice them, he would let it slide. For now. You know, like how he let Overhaul take Eri away for "the greater good" at the time.
Harsh when I put it this way, but he basically "sacrificed" Eri just so the others won't be hurt. He did feel remorse and it tortured him, but he did it anyway.
I don't think there would be a lot he could say about letting Overhaul helps Deku. Unless he evolved (or devolved?) into a self-righteous person, full of vengeance in his heart. I don't think he is that kinda person, tho
