Yokai watch 3 is incredible, absolutely massive game that combines content from the previous 2 games and doubles it with an entirely new region with so much to do. 100 hour long game at the very least, and an extremely expensive physical (I got it for $90 back in 2019, now it’s around $250, while on the e shop it’s just $50). Can’t recommend it enough, one of the best games on the 3ds
This may have been covered but in case make sure you download all the updates and patches to all the games you have and will want on physical in the future. Example if you don't download Pokémon x, y, sun moon, ultra sun moon, alpha sapphire, omega ruby, etc. When you get those physical cartridges later you won't be on the most up to date edition and unable to connect to other players. Do this for every online game. Smash, Mario Kart, all of them. Games where you can download other players made things, make sure they are up to date. Swap doodle, etcetera. Also remember some demos have things that transfer to the main game, some exclusive stuff that can't be got in game otherwise. A lot if rpgs like this. Example: Pokémon sun and moon demo unique greninja. Check all especially rpgs for in game dlc, a lot is free. Smt, monster hunter, fire emblem. Also don't forget if you have/like fantasy life the dlc makes the game have essentially another half which leads to the true ending. P.s. get the free wallpapers cuz why not. If you don't have it, shantae wall paper $2 features 4 ladies in bikinis, so if you only buy one.
I'm mostly trying to grab a few DLC for Fire Emblem & SMT games, and eshop exclusive stuff like Crimson Shroud. I have been spending time with DQ7, I probably need to look up a guide to the Haven.
I already have FE:Fates(DLC pack having all three) and planning to get Awakening. I've heard Echoes is good but has a lot of DLC and was wondering if the dlc is necessary story-wise, or is it just bonus content?
It's just bonus content for the most part, you can enjoy the game just fine without it. The only cool story related one is a prolouge of what happened right before the main story starts with the deliverance members.
@@PluckyJackson I know nothing about fire emblem but I got all three of the games for 3ds. Which dlc packs should I get off I'm interested in new characters and lore?
@Alex-ek3vl the most important things to get are the alternate routes for Fates. If you have conquest, get birthright and revelations, if you have birthright get conquest and revelations. Revelations is eshop only so it will be inaccessible after March 27th. The prologue dlc for echoes expands on characters in the main story, the other dlc adds new character with new stories but you can do without it and still have a very complete feeling game. I'm not too familiar with awakening dlc but I think a lot of it is just adding in older characters from the series.
I can recommend getting the story DLC and Cypher units for echoes, just if you like the game that much. I would say everything else is optional. Definitely not the first set of maps for silver, exp or weapons. The second one is not so bad if you plan on doing some grinding before the post game dungeon. The additional classes is an over kill but fun none the less. On an extra note on the cipher units, I would say it is worth it as echoes has a rather small cast and they add some extra customization to your playthroughs.
Thanks for the video. I'm double checking my list to make sure I've got everything I want before the shop closes. One thing, you had Dragon Quest VII in the title but all the footages were from Dragon Quest VIII. Which one are you actually recommending? ha ha
I talked about dragon quest 8 in my first 3ds video so I would recommend both but if you can only get one most would probably say dragon quest 8 is the better choice of the two. Also, thanks for watching!
@@AlexsaurusRex The most prominent ones are Zora Swimming (which is considerably worse on 3DS) and major changes to boss mechanics (again: considerably worse on 3DS). MM on N64 is the definite version of MM. You can also use that for Randomizer, which is amazing.
@@AlexsaurusRex The Deku Scrub bouncing on water is ruined and boss fights in general are almost all worse. Check out Nerrel's video of the differences to see it explained in greater detail.
@@supersmashdylan thanks! My main gripe with the switch version is that it’s not my personal game. I don’t have the original console it was released in and the 3ds version is adorable.
Wait, I thought you couldn't buy anything any more??? Can you only do so with Nintendo gift cards? I thought I couldn't use my debit card last time I was on the E shop.
You cannot use gift cards no the ability to do that was disabled last year. I think the only way to add funds to 3ds now is to add them on your Nintendo account online or if you own a switch then it should show up on the 3ds assuming your signed into the same account. Nintendo should have information about how to do this on their website. After March 27th it will be impossible to purchase anything from the store.
@@damon7845 No switch needed. I created an account last month, put money into it and linked my 3ds to it, all from a windows laptop. When the 3ds eshop closes my account will still be there with its left over small change.
same after my play through of link to the past im going to play majora iv been think hard about playing on 3ds vs switch the cons out way the pros for the 3ds. the zora swimming and the deku skipping being the biggest cons
What games are you getting before the eshop closes at the end of the month? Let me know...
I'm very tempted by the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It's made by MercurySteam who made Samus Returns remake and Dread

I bought a new memory card for my 3ds so I can get Yo Kai watch 3. I love the 3ds, I wish they wouldn't close the eshop.
Nice list. I might have to check out Radiant Historia before its too late. I always hear that game being highly recommended on 3DS lists.
Fire Emblem Echoes=BEST FE EVER! change my mind!
I just got a new 3DS with all the fire emblems on it and I cannot wait to jump in to echoes as well as awakening!
Definitely my favorite 💙
There is no need. I agree.
My personal favorite but definitely not the best, there are better FE games like geneaology of the holy war, path of radiance, radiant dawn.

Yea, there's some fire emblem dlc I still need to get as well. That plus Stella glow and I'll mostly be good. Also, thanks for watching!
Resident evil revelations really shows what the 3DS can do were no other game seems to come close to the same graphical fidelity?!
You wrote and say Dragon Quest VII but you're talking about VIII as well as showing that gameplay footage.
Yea, I got some stuff mixed up from my other video and didn't realize it until I already published it lol. Sorry about that.

I prioritize Etrian Odyssey 4&5 Nexus over 1 because the first 3 are getting a rerelease on the switch this year
I'm buying the fire emblem games and dragon quest games because the physical copies will be too pricey in the near future

TLoZ MM 3D is a straight downgrade from the N64 version due to the gameplay changes. I'd much rather go with the N64 version on Switch Online.
What gameplay changes? I have the 3ds version

5:37 DQ7 but showing 8, which one 😂🖤??
If you can only get one I would recommend dragon quest 8.

I don’t consider Zelda or Monster Hunter to be RPG’s.
how is zelda not a rpg?
@@diamondly6250 I would say Zelda games are part of the action and adventure genre.
