I was in Seychelles two weeks ago and it was the most beautiful experience. I haven’t felt that amount of peace and calm in any country. I spent 4 nights in Savoy resort in Beau Vallon, and that resort was so beautiful with amazing service.
I also found the locals very nice and accommodating when I went touring Mahe. I was never treated in a weird way or anything like Tayo described in his own video.
It’s quite expensive in Seychelles, but I expected this considering it’s an island country with very limited resources. The driver that drove us around even said the entire island runs on a diesel generator for power, so you can imagine how expensive that is. He also mentioned the drug abuse problem and it was really sad to hear.
Everywhere feels so dreamy in Seychelles, the air is clean, the water, the environment everything really. I had a great experience and can’t wait to return in the future if the recent ban on Nigerian passport holders gets lifted.

I remember going to Seychelles when I was in the navy. We played basketball against some local b-ballers. They beat us a couple of times and I remember spraining my knee. I hopped on one leg to the resort by the beach. Overall, I enjoyed myself the whole time I was there. I need to get back there again.

Anywhere where tourism is booming there's always a problem with heroine, even in my own city where I come from, mombasa, Kenya it's the same issue, and in Zanzibar too, I hate to say this but the tourists (Europeans) brought this in the East African coasts 😢

@@ScissorN Yes Cape town is the drugs den of SA . Ďrugs are brought in by europeans and also manufactured on big farms in the Western cape . Dont forget the south American drug lords who own Cape Town mansions .

Thank you Steven for this beautiful reportage video, lovely. What strikes me must is that even locals born in the Seychelles never had the opportunity to taste a coco de mer, every innate child should have access to this blessed seed, they should be offered this at school at least once in a lifetime, don't they?

Been to the Sychelles 3 times(for work) and it’s beautiful. I really enjoyed my time there. It was actually hot, hotter than home, Hawaii. But I am always happy when I come back home here in Hawaii. When they say it’s expensive, idk man, it was fair enough.

You never know what expensive like until you in Seychelles, I out of a teenage Igbo hustling curiosity traveled from Lagos alone in 2002, Even as at then the most affordable guess house i got was 50 usd .Then next morning i was yet again set back with 100 usd just for a meal at restaurant and a tube of tooth paste that i bought. However, it wasn't just quite frankly the exorbitant pricing. its is the language barrier, lonely street , no night life , zero as at then. Nevertheless, i met some amazing very good humans, Islanders, Pirates, Dreadlocks Rastafarians who guided me around the ship. There was this guy i believe is , Seychelles Taekwondo federation champ who took me to his house,, beach, ate with his family , Shout out anyone? Am looking out for him still, Amazing guy right there!
