These looks absolutely amazing, a true racing flat ID.
I love the Razor 4! The new midsole and upper is amazing. The Speed Beast looks like a ramped up Razor 4. Looks like a real 'beast' of a speed shoe!
Sketches are way under valued to the running community. Try them out. They are pretty great!
Hopefully the new foam compound is softer, it looks great either way! Can't wait to try em on!!
The new foam is very soft yet still extremely responsive. Had the Razor 4 out for a nice 8 miler out of the box and the midsole is really great.
I find it softer in vibration dampening and absorbing impact compared to the firmer varieties of Hyperburst (GRR10 was much softer and more forgiving than others) but it doesn't feel super compressive in the Razor 4. It feels like a nice midsole for training.

The Maxroad 6 looks pretty nice, too. Maybe they're going to be able to compete in the Hoka/NB More arena.

I was just thinking that we needed some updated Skechers reveals They are often overlooked in the running market. Ive enjoyed my Skechers Razors (3, Plus, Excess) and Speed Freek
Yay! As a Skechers running shoe enthusiast I'm excited about this one. I love the cradle of midsole giving support, and the outsole look like a big improvement over the Freek; I hope the rubber compound has been improved, the previous Goodyear stuff started to wear through in 100 miles. The upper looks like an improvement, too. I still have a scar where the Freek wore off my skin on top where the big toe meets the foot due to overlapping materials. But, lightweight? 8.4 isn't all that light. Where is the extra weight coming from, that useless extension off the back of heel midsole? If this shoe didn't have the super rigid winglet plate, it would be a great daily runner contender. The MaxRoad 4+ is still my all time favorite and go-to if I want to put in some all-purpose miles or go for a long run that won't beat up my legs. Everybody's gotta throw a "plate" in their shoes now, rigid shoes aren't all that comfortable for regular runs.

@@arkamukhopadhyay9111 yes, it is supposed to be. Connor has been wearing it in workouts. To me, the midsole and upper look good, and if it were a bit flexible and forgiving it would be an excellent training shoe. Also, to be a racing shoe it needs to lose an once or two. I know Skechers can do it, they've made crazy-light shoes before.

Hopefully they added some additional toebox room! I just haven't been able to get a good fit with their newer models and I have regular width feet!
Just returned my Razor 4. Toe box was just too narrow for me. Looks like they just keep slimming the toe box down. Sad! I have EVERY Skechers model from 2021 and earlier.

I have a regular size 11 foot. GRR 8, 9, 10, Max Road 4, 5. Couldn't get my foot into the Razor Excess, even though it's always billed as true to size.
Crazy isn’t it! I used to be a Skechers guy because they were wide! Not any more.

Is the last the same as the speed freak? That shoe tapered to a point at the toes so aggressively that it was uncomfortable on the big toe.

Oh god I wish they’d get some young designer to work on the upper aesthetics. That “Speed” graffiti - and that neon jungle print to be honest - look pretty juvenile. It’s unfortunate since the shoes do seem very promising technically.

Have you been running in the Speed Beast? I've tested several hundred miles in them and found they are one of the most durable super shoes on the market. The added rubber is far more durable than many of the other carbon plated racers. -COnnor
Any more sole rocker and these would have to be called tires. 🛞 😅
