How would a 2016 Honda Fit do on this trail? Ground clearance is only 5-6 inches. Based on prior comments, it seems 8 inches is a good clearance for the trail.
Diggin’ your videos. We have a house up on Beech Mtn. Since I now have a 4runner with a 3” lift. I would like to try some trails. Can you give me some places near Boone?
Awesome job! I really enjoyed it. I've been on several trails over that way but have yet to do Hurricane Creek. I'm having bumpers and sliders built for the 100 next week so around Thanksgiving I plan on hitting this trail. We're hoping to do some videos and the new drone will be here tomorrow. Look forward to more videos from you
Yes, we did and it was great. I went back and watched your video and I laughed when you turned off 40 because that was about my reaction. I had 5 or 6 cars on my butt with turning signal on about a 1/4 mile before the turn and they stayed right behind me instead of hitting the left lane. 9 time out 10, they would be riding in the left lane with me wanting to pass them. So do you live close to this area? I live in Morristown, TN, I'm about 1 hour from the trail head.
I just saw this video and this looks great. I've been planning a trip with about 4 or 5 rigs and planning on hitting this trail. I'm looking for somewhere to camp with all the rigs near max patch. Could you point me in the right direction? That would be a huge help
Hey, Im in NC (Spruce Pine) and would love to join your group if you do this. Im a novice, but the wife and I want to do some trips like this and just bought a vehicle to do it. 2012 Tundra with a small / moderate lift and decent off-road tires. Not sure if guests are welcome, but we would be happy to meet some new friends (transplants from NY) in the area and do some offroading/camping.
Would a stock Forester be able to do this section to Max Patch? Hard to tell, seems there’s some iffy areas in other videos but uncertain which sections are which. If not are there any other stock Forester trails you’d recommend?
nice video. going to max patch soon and plan to hit hurricane Creek. where, in relation to max patch was yalls campsite? coordinates would be even better!
Driving north on the FR, go past Max Patch a few miles. It was the first turn-off on the left once you cross over into TN. There are far more campsites south of Max Patch but we were already up there and the sun was going down so had to find something.
Wife and I are interested in taking a trip thru this, where was that large open space that you panned around. Is there a specific path to veer onto in order to get there once you hope onto the trail from i40? Little confused how Max Patch differs from Hurricane Creek. Thanks
YellowMetalDriver large open space is Max Patch. Follow Hurricane Creek trail on map from 40 to the state forest roads then go North to get to Max Patch

Great video. Can a full sized truck make it through? I have a short wheelbase F350. 32" AT tires. Thanks
Dan Mayer might get some pinstripes but otherwise no issues
hey there do you have any directions to like get to these places??
Copy these coordinates. 35.7233060, -83.0263610I40 I40 till u see Harmons Den sign. Get ready to turn right off interstate. Be careful!

Yes! Love them Cherokees.
Love the message, keep up the great work! Hope we can ride together one day.
Would a stock 96 grand Cherokee be able to make the trail?
Siler White should be fine just be smart picking lines
60k Tacoma? Hilarious

Any trail easy enough for a stock subaru outback
Could definitely run the FS roads! Might could do Hurricane Creek but don't go alone. May dent your rockers some in certain sections.
What is the FS roads. I'm wanting to take the lighter terrain version lol thanks!
@@bill1.4all8 he meant Forest Service roads. They cover more terrain in WNC than interstate.
