There's something special imo about racing minis and superminis and even though I'm 450 A dude now on a YZ450 I will always remember my KX85 as one of the best bikes in terms of feel, power to weight and outright handling. I think it's also the first real taste a rider will get when winning your first moto or overall. They were fast 10 years ago and they only keep getting better each year...mostly
Wow it’s unbelievable how fast these 85 are when I was a kid I had the first Kawasaki KX 80A1 it put out about 17hp technology has these 85s with about 25 hp and probably with a little work 30 hp or more they are truly little 🚀 ships 🏁
@@kanesaw7456imo, theyve fallen off. When i was a kid in like 2010, I knew 2 people with tms, despite not knowing many riders. Now i know a lot of peoole who ride, & nobody has a tm. Tm used to be boutique, they had the best parts from every company in the industry on their bikes. I just checked their website and few days ago, & everything i was seeing was for model year 2023. The merch & bike models were "new for 2023"... for real? Don't get me wrong, I used to love them when tm used blue plastics. Id like to love them again but it seems like low effort & cost cutting on their part.
I'm personally investing in a couple more CNC machines to start making some parts for personal TMs just to make him a little more exotic and trick to show people and showcase the brand.
kudos to the kid, but this is exactly why people are leaving the sport. That kid has more money in that engine than most people can afford to pay for the entire bike. They are kids, they should be riding pretty much stock bikes. IMO this bike is sick, but not fair when you come to racing others in his age/class. Unfortunately most cant compete with the type of money his family can throw at it. Nothing against this young man for being an exceptional rider.
Wish tm would start a mini team in the us and promoto team or least a gncc team lol their 85s are sick only one with aluminum frame and a motor make ktm look like pw 50 lol
Man, that thing is just sick! I can not imagine having that as a kid, I hope these guys really appreciate what they have and give it 100%
I love the Mini-Cycle content! Take me back to the sounds of my childhood...
Right on.

The TM brand needs a bigger footprint here in the United States and I'm hoping to see that grow in 2025 because I love the boutique brand.
trying it for years though, Missing the mark. But yes would be great to see

Parts availability is the issue
that pipe..... holy cow.
Cylinder spacer?
Hmm does look like a spacer. That would raise the ports with a longer rod same piston ? Good eye.

The ending is just advertising the kid knew his bike was better than this bike and you pretty much forced him to say things he didn’t agree with
Why would you namena bike Gas Gas sound like some ceep Chinese bike
