I just realized that Makoto got the worst room (window close to the road with cars) when barely anyone lived in the dorm and plenty of other rooms were empty.
I'd prefer to have a room with a window personally
Another funny thing is that Yukari got the same location room as well, but apparently has no windows in her room (they literally boarded up her windows???).

Also, I realized that despite the large sums of money the Kirijo company and Mitsuru’s family have, they didn’t even put air conditioners in any of the rooms and that’s why Summer still sucked for them.
Apparently Shinji's room also sucked because the vending machine is just on the other side of the wall from his bed and he can hear it if someone buys anything. Lol

Its interesting to see the rest of the building outside the room, but from a developer's standpoint, it's tons easier to just copy the building and take out extra details for space.

Smart optimization on their part! I could run 1080p with the highest settings including rt on my gtx 1660 ti with a weak cpu which is rare for a ue4 game.
There's nothing to optimize, artstyle gives a plenty of possibilities to avoid performance issues. I suppose, while using High settings, you still have FPS drops in Tartarus' hall and on floors themselves.
you guys actually had good optimization? Paulownia Mall and the entrance to Tarturus all took my FPS down to like 30 in Tarturus and TEN in Paulownia Mall. I have a GTX 1080, running the game at max settings where everything else runs perfectly at 120 fps. So why only there?
Then again, they could have patched the game to fix it, I don't know.
@@SQTheFunnyGuyWhen’s the last time you played, just curious. There was a patch which heavily improved performance like a week after launch.
@@oraclewithaz I played the game on day 1, and beat it like maybe 2 weeks later... I haven't checked if the game has gotten any optimization improvements, but maybe I'll check in NG+
@@SQTheFunnyGuy The game has gotten a huge FPS for me after they released the patch for PC. I went from 30 FPS in Tartarus to a smooth 50-70 with the optimization update, and I played on a 1650. The Velvet room was also incredibly laggy originally, but that was also fixed. Google “Persona 3 Reload fps” and you’ll see that many more people on steam have had issues.

sometimes characters are locked up in their room like Yukari when the exams are coming up so she studies in her room or the times where Mitsuru is in her room because she needed space, and i wonder what exactly is going on in there
the rooms are not rendered in the dorm map. I can check but I assume they're either not there or standing behind the door
@@RainbowsCloneI'm not sure if it's possible, but the dorms do exist within the command room videos, but that's probably a preloaded cutscene where you cant free-camera it, right?

Regarding the 2 sets of characters at the police station, my guess is that originally they wanted you to buy gear from the front desk directly like it was in the original game. But later changed their mind as they probably thought that it would make more sense if you were taken to the back to buy that stuff. This way Kurosawa won't get caught selling dangerous items to a teenager if someone so happens to come into the station while minato's attempting to make a purchase.
It would have been cool if looking around the Velvet Room you could see Nameless and Belladonna

P3R recently has been updated sometime this month, May 2024. The latest update shrunk the game but ALSO disabled the ability to successfully use Unlocker sadly. Any attempts to use UE Unlocker now crashes P3R indefinitely unless a dedicated modder or 2 can make a P3R exclusive camera for the foreseeable future. :(
Combine this with the UI toggle mod on Nexus and you're (persona 4) golden

Is it possible to enable free camera when there is a character movement?
I am trying to record a part where there is a character that moves, I can pause the scene and take a screenshot, but if I resume the game, the camera goes back to default. I can't activate the free camera while doing the movement either, only when it finishes or pauses.
I'm not sure, I'm a noob when it comes to using UEunlocker. I only know the control to unlock the camera movement which disables all input to the actual game, and a button to freeze the game (but the audio will still play)
@@RainbowsClone Thank you, finally yesterday playing with the keys I found a way, it is related to the first thing you mention, it let me move the camera independently of the characters talking or moving.
