Hey guys!
Note that a confirmation action should be before any other actions in the button.
Paused the video midway. Understood exactly where I need my buttons. Opened Notion in pc, created a bunch of buttons that I will surely use everyday. Now resuming. 😊😊 Your contents are pure gold. Thanks a lot for the tutorial. ❤
Thank you so much Red for spending time to build and share so helpful tutorials : you are my Notion teacher !!
This was so handy, I hadn't been able to think of use cases for myself now and this has really explained some ideas.
Again one of the best application tutorial
Great! You’re always full of ideas of how best to use a new Notion feature. Many thanks for this video!
Awesome. One function, hundred of ways to use. And you have always given the best ideas to use Notion! Thank you!
Thank you so much❤I can't believe how clear your teachings are, and the fact that you share your templates FOR FREE with everyone is amazing! You are so kind and generous🥹 You deserve even more followers, and I really think you should have them!
Fantastic as usual, thanks
Great examples! Thanks for putting that together!
I appreciate this so much! You are great at explaining topics!
Really good tutorial! Great job with the use cases as well :)
Awesome! I can finally have buttons that direct me to other pages without using /link page and actually look like buttons! I don't know why it bother me. haha Also great vid!
Thank you so much for you great videos. So clear and so inspiring to improve my dashboard 🙏

I LOVE YOU
I REALLY LIKE YOUR VIDEOS
I HOPE IT CONTINUES LIKE THIS
THANKS!!!!💌💌
Hi There !
Thanks for your great video and tutorial, extremely clear as always !
As a workspace administrator currently working on a massive knowledge base, I'm really excited to see buttons coming to Notion.
To me what is currently missing is :
* Opening external links (as you mentionned)
* Track the URL from which the button has been clicked (as a property in a database for exemple)
* When a new page is added in a database : automatically use a template for the page. I've tried adding a template by default, but the button keeps creating new, blank pages.
Gracias por el apoyo y compartir tu conocimiento de vdd me sirve mucho =)
Thank you for this video. Some of the button use cases could also be accomplished with a database view. How do you decide when to use which?
Great video 👍, would be nice to be able to use buttons also in the page-locked state
Without the ability to set true recurring tasks, without the ability to set reminders in recurring templates that pop-up when the template is activated, and no sound when a reminder comes onto a smartphone or tablet, I cannot make the complete switch to Notion. I still have to use other apps. Too bad, because I like Notion, but it is missing some very basic functionality.
This is why coda is still my #1. Buttons have FAR more functionality than in notion.
Red! You still using Obsidian? Any chance we get some videos on it? Thanks!
Can you do a video on how to create a scoreboard on notion? (for example, a 30-days score board?) Because I see the progress bar feature and I want to know if its possible to create a long-form version of it.
Goodddd
How did yo create columns to put buttons n and not affect the tables?
could you make how to create a formula for duration of start date to end date? (days and night)
ex: 1 June - 4 June (3 days and 2 night). thank you
Is there a way to create a button that would add a number to an existing number field. The use case is that you have a project page and you are tracking time towards a project phase. You finish your work for the day and you want to add 3 hours to your total time spent. You click your button enter 3 and it adds it to your time spent property for that phase or task.
Can you update the “track Subscriptions” with buttons?
Hi. That's a great video. Thank you for this and for all of your videos. But, I think for "Add confirmation message", the confirmation message must be put before the step that clear the last paid value, don’t you think so? In the video, we see the value changes to "To pay" before or at the same time the popin appears. If it put before, the popin is displayed and when we confirm the message, then the value is changed.
Anyway, thanks for all your videos. You’re doing a huge job !!
Thanks for letting me know. I accidentally switched it while filming. Template is fixed.
@@RedGregory You’re welcome 😊
Nice!! Just what I was expecting. You explain this things so clearly that makes me my day so easy! haha!!
I would like to ask you for help on something else too: (or if anyone on the community knows this, please help!)
I have an accounting database for my business, and I would like to know how can I get the monthly growth in percentage. Let me explain:
In excel this is easy because you need to do: (Net Income from This month - Net Income from last month) / Net Income from last month. For example: (A2-A1)-A1
But in notion I guess you cannot do that on a database: (This month's entry-last month entry) / Last month's entry (everything on the same database)
I hope you didn't get confused.... 😅
