(The story behind this song for those who are interested) Right before my great grandmother passed, one of her last wishes was for me to sing for her at her funeral. She wanted to hear the song Hallelujah. The day of the funeral I sat by my self, away from the rest of my family, preparing to sing beside my late great grandmother. I didn’t want to see the faces of my family, because I knew that I would have broken out in tears if I saw them crying. The time had come for me to sing. I stood right next to her coffin and sang for her, for the very last time. That was one of the hardest moments of my life. I couldn’t put my finger on how I was feeling. I sang for someone who wasn’t there, but in a way she was -In spirit. I know she heard me that day and I know that she hears this song. Cold at the altar is a tribute to my great grandmother. By far and away one of the best voices I’ve ever heard. This show is 100% rigged if he doesn’t win. He is a once in a lifetime talent and should be rewarded for it. Absolutely incredible
i don't know if it's rigged but i have suspicions about golden buzzers being pre-chosen. I was watching an old golden buzzer video (I forget which one) and I noticed the contestants all making the "oh" face at the same time, except one guy who was late on making the face. If that was a live recorded reaction then it was set up before hand and someone cued them on when to react. When Kodi Lee came on and his mom walked off stage she's talking to her family and says "wait", I thought that was odd after the "oh" face thing, and then he gets the golden buzzer. I've also noticed the same people in the audience they cut to for reactions at different shows, dressed differently.
I know you commented a good few weeks back but I wanted to express my agreement about the show. I’ve read that he was invited to attend in this show......well WTF are they doing, trying to put him down. Yes it shows that the whole show is choreographed and that Simon Cowell is one big deceiver.......it doesn’t matter as Chris has said himself he has had his exposure and that’s the main thing to get us loving him and his talent.......sorry to be so long winded....just so disappointed for him

I’ve never disagreed with Simon ever really until now. I’ve disagreed with howie a lot before. This song was literally written for passing of his grandmother. How more emotional can that get. You could hear the pain and shred in his voice and he only was up there with a guitar and his voice and I was hooked from the start

This song has a huge emotional connection , he didn't do what most would , Chris wrote this song talking of his feelings when asked to sing at his nans funeral. Such an amazing guy

Simon has proved time and time again that he knows the music. He acknowledges that he's talented. But Chris is something more, and they DO expect something more from that. Both Simon and Howie.
He delivers his entire soul in his performances. But the music industry gives nothing about how much soul or heart you put into a song or raw talent and it's sad. Because today all flaws can be altered in the studio to perfection and playback on stages live. Chris is one of theese guys that sounds the same live as on recordings. Last time I heard that was pink floyd his music skills are beyond 99% of todays artists even tough I don't really like his genre of music myself. I hope he goes far as an artist and not slowly fades away and forgotten about because chris is true raw talent both as a singer and songwriter.

I've been looking for everything I can find from Chris and listening to it all. Totally enthralled with the voice, the creative music writing and the emotional connection he creates with whatever he chooses to sing. Absolutely wonderful song, captured in a marvelous way. Hearing Simon's and Howie's comments made it seem like this is some kind of set up. the same thing actually happened when Chris won the Swedish idol. Every now and then, no matter how good the performance was, the judges would say that he chose the wrong genre or just simply the wrong song, or some other stupid bullshit. and all of this just to not make it obvious that he was going to win. everyone knew, he was too good for the competition. could be the same situation here, they tune him down just to even out the competition. but idk might be wrong

I ADORE this man's talent!! The more I listen to this song, the more it shakes and warms my heart :) It didn't grab me right away like his other 2 AGT auditions, BUT today it has spoken to me and I have seen the true beauty of it :)
Incredible. Simply incredible. I have no other words than to say it's always an honor to hear or be in the presence of greatness. It doesn't matter if it's instrumental, art, vocals or whatever....1 in a billion people in the world has talent like this in a particular field and I'm not one of them. It's an amazing blessing to just be on the sidelines and be a spectator.

I've been looking for everything I can find from Chris and listening to it all. Totally enthralled with the voice, the creative music writing and the emotional connection he creates with whatever he chooses to sing. Absolutely wonderful song, captured in a marvelous way. Hearing Simon's and Howie's comments made it seem like this is some kind of set up. Those clowns are definitely NOT connected to reality and have already started to sell him out for some other less talented bozo that has the sob story they can latch onto. Seriously BOGUS Judging. the same thing actually happened when Chris won the Swedish idol. Every now and then, no matter how good the performance was, the judges would say that he chose the wrong genre or just simply the wrong song, or some other stupid bullshit. and all of this just to not make it obvious that he was going to win. everyone knew, he was too good for the competition. could be the same situation here, they tune him down just to even out the competition. but idk might be wrong
