Honestly these were all top notch performances and he showcased his broad range of vocal talents. Didn't watch this season but this guy would win hands down in my book. When a contestant touches your soul with his music that's who you vote for. Much respect to him.
My wife and I wanted him to win so badly! Loved every ORIGINAL song he sang (obviously loved his rendition of Imagine as well) but that 3rd song brought a smile to my face!! This man gave AGT 3 out of 3 hit songs! I will buy his album

What kicks my teeth in on Chris not winning is that he sang his own songs. His only cover was his audition. And OMFG, his audition was so amazing, that John Lennon was rocking along him in heaven.
Awesome!!! He did it the way he wanted to, gave us some originals with great songwriting abilities, took risks, and the last song where he gets the audience involved was so fun!!! I am so proud of how much work he's put into something we get the pleasure of hearing! Keep on climbing Chris, the top is so close, you're right there!!!

I love his spin on covers. His voice is so universal and stylizing it the way he does resonates with me for some reason. Would love to hear a whole pile of his originals. I think it's only then he'll be truely appreciated as a PURE talent. Covers artists are a dime a dozen. Sad, but true. He is so much better than that and deserves his own spotlight.
