Lyrics:
Hay there Ms. Derpy
How's it going in Equestria?
I'm another world away
But filly, you just look so pretty
Yes you do
Rainbow ain't got nothin on you
My dear Ms. Derpy
Don't you worry, don't you fret
I'll be there if you get lonely
Even if we've never met
We'll start to fly
Listen to my voice, it tells no lies.
Hey girl, I really love your eyes.
CHORUS
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up somewhere very far
A land I had only heard about before...
And the first thing that I'm gonna do
Is search right across that land for you
Because you are the pony I adore
And I swear I'll love you forever-more.
Hay there Ms. Derpy
I've got so much that I want to say
If only I could speak with you...
I know I'd find a way
To say it all
Together into love we'd fall
My sweet Ms. Derpy
I know that this song is getting long
It was meant to be so simple, I just
Don't know what went wrong, it's all for you
You know that I'll always come through
My Derpy Hooves, this song's for you
CHORUS
10 years later I still absolutely adore this song... it gives me so much nostalgia for mlp and fallout equestria
This is the first time I've heard this song. This is wonderful. 10 years ago, it’s incredible how time flies. I hope you are doing well now.
Just realized this song is a parody of a parody of “hey there Delilah”
I always listen yo this song fr
Even after all this time-
>be me
>2062
>The fandom is dead
>Lauren Faust is dead
>Some voice actor also dead
>no one mentioning pony
>no internet connection
>Just an old DDR2 PC keep playing random episode of mlp, and fanmade animation videos
>this music playing
>tears begin to drip down try as hard as I can to reach and light my cigarette
>my last puff and also my last breath in my chair with Derpy plushie on my lap.
'some voice actor'
Mmmmm ye
2022 and still coming to visit this classic
This is probably the most creative cover I've ever listened to. Thank you for making something soo vintage, and soo Fallout, and soo awesome! :D
Thanks, dude. A cover is only as good as its source material.
Hit me up if you're ever in the market for a shreddy guitarist.
I love it mainly cause it imitates the style of the Ink Spots....and cause it uses such great song.
OH MAH GERSH FOREST REIN!!
:O
Thank you for creating this song, we wouldn't have this awesome cover without your original.
Really nailed that Ink Spots intro ;)
Thanks. Gotta love the Ink Spots.
warbalist Too right!
Lupin Quill Yeah, great post effects, making it sound like an old recording from the Vinyl era.
Best Fallout: Equestria song imo. Mainly due to the fact that it is so close to the Fallout 3 style
Thanks. I can't wait to make more like it.
Which makes it even better because of how close FoE feels like Fallout 3.
so much talent is in the brony fandom i love it
Thanks, man. If only we could leverage that talent to get high-paying jobs in the creative fields...
@@warbalist true
Wow, this brings me back
Holy crap.
Took me forever to realize it, but the intro notes are THE SAME as the Ink Spot's intros!
Nice subtle reference you've got there!
Sky Breeze Not so subtle. We really went after that Ink Spots sound and they had a LOT of songs that started like this. One of their songs had to be in the same key, heh.
+warbalist well you guys sure hit the nail on the head, it sounds just like the ink spots
Thanks, dude.
Holy fucking hell this is brilliant. I played Fallout 3 for the first time ever in July and got so hooked on the music. This was absolutely amazing, your voice is stunning, and the style was done very well. Definitely downloading this.
Thank you so much. This is actually my wife's voice (as the lead). She has a wide register. Atticus did the bass vocals and talking. I just did the tenor, guitar, arrangement and mixing. On a side-note: isn't Fallout amazing? You may enjoy New Vegas if you haven't played it already. It's one of my favorites in the series. Then again, I'm a West-Coast dude so I might be a bit biased.
Wow, all of you have amazing talent ^^
And yes, it's very amazing, my favorite game of all time in fact. I think I spent around 300 hours playing it (while not as much as most, that's quite a bit for me). I've played a bit of NV, but haven't really got sucked into the story quite yet. Once this semester ends I'll try to pick it up again :P
Thank you again.
New Vegas is very different. It feels more like the original Fallouts. It never feels as grandiose. Think of it more as a nuclear-age spaghetti western with snappy dialogue and a deep understanding of grey morality.
I'm literally crying, for no reason. This is just *so fucking good*.
Thank you so much. Happy you enjoy it.
5 years later, and it's nostalgic
7 years later and it still has that fallout vibe, you did a great job mate.
Eight years going on almost 9. I was about 10 when I heard this, now I have a job
This song was on the Equestria Friendship Radio mod for Fallout 4
Haha! Really? Culture is so all over the place now. XD
That actually makes me want to start playing Fallout 4 xD
I FINALLY FOUND IT
i loved this song but i never found the full version and after years of looking for it i found it
2021......anyone?
Yuh bubba
2024 .,.
¿2024?
It's funny, cause derpy is still alive in fallout Equestria.
that moment when you finish fallout Equestria, fallout Equestria project horizons, and Fallout Equestria pink eyes and then here this. And cries. Currently reading murky number seven and it is inspiring
Don't spoil it for me, but was PH good? I'm like 2/3 of the way through now
+William Tannery Yes. yes it is. What are you on?
+KK Wilson Chapter 53, 89% through. 2/3 was inaccurate lol
+William Tannery finish volume 4 and the 1st couple chapters of volume 5 and then try to tell me this is not good
Knocked my socks off
Oh shots fired shots fired!
Awesome song, I fucking love effects like these and the vintage sound makes it sweet. Very 40's-esque.
Thanks a bunch. Glad you had fun with it.
warbalist No, thank you for creating it.
warbalist hey werbal are u guys makeing a third foe radioplay? That would be amazing!
Yep. Still waiting on my part, but yeah. I just know this one will be fun to score.
There's going to be more? I though it was just going to be the first few as an "intro" of sorts to the story.
just finished reading fallout equestria. this is one of the best if not the best remix of this song. Ever!
Jacob Rocha Thanks.
I like to imagine that this was written by the doctor for derpy after he went back to equestria in the TARDIS to find it an apocalyptic wasteland and finding his former companion a ghoul.
so sad D':
I cried when I found out derby was a goul
And she had her tongue cut out by slavers :"(
if I was the doctor I would have so many regrets
Thanks
holy shit I thought that was an actual ink spots song, I was searching through most of youtube for this song
That fucking book dude. Longest book I've ever read.
You should all read it. It's absolutely harrowing.
When i first heard this song I really thought it was something out of the 30's/40's. You guys sure know how to properly mix a song. It's way better than the original imo.
That's what I thought as well, it sounded so much like the ink spots that I searched it as an ink spots song
Wow! This is really like Fallout music! THIS IS AWESOME!
Thanks, yo!
D:
Derpy Hooves
Derpy Hooves I like more the name Ditzy Doo
This is amazing! I love how you've taken a quirky pop-punk song and made it into this!
It totally matches the theme of the Fallout universe.
Listening to it makes me depressed thinking about all the sad parts in FO:E, but in a good way! You guys did an awesome job.
Thank you so much. Yeah, thinking back on the story, there are some fairly dark spots.
Taking a class on the History of Motown...
and this is certainly linking up with my project later...
Haha! That's quite a link.
Kinda crazy to think the last time I listen to this was years ago
listened to this song for the first time in the end of October 2014. It's nostalgic... Nice cover,
very good old-style sound. Added now to favorites.
It's just... too good to exist in this world. AMAZING touch making the vocals warbly and vintage. One can only hope it's put in the Fallout: Equestria game - It deserves it!
I listen to this song and close my eyes for a while. Suddenly in my head a scene in 1950's
Same
Wilson Redhooves That's the best part.
years later, still amazing x
wow this is incredible, very well done. I love how far the brony community has come when you look all the awesome things we've made in the 5 years we've been going and for that im proud to call myself a brony :D
Wow, thanks.
so good
this song is just so good man I love it this fits the feeling of fallout so well man good job
Is so beautiful!
Dat Ink Spots intro. Makes me all tingly inside. :D
Ink Spots does that to all of us. I can't imagine how many biscuits will be flipped when Fallout 4 is announced.
The melody in this song really feels like it represents Fallout: Equestria. Sorry Forest Rain, but this cover is better than the original song XD
I agree I like it 😀
Even after 3 years I still get chills. I'll never forget mlp and fo:e, man those are some good memories...
Got that *pop* classic ink spots vibe in that music, fucking love you for it.
Chills, absolute chills
This is still amazing, 10/10 world building, i love this fandom
This hurts
Good
This song has creepy feeling to it and I love it
Boy this sure brings back alot of memories. This is by far with out a doubt the most moving fallout equestria song and possibally even one of the best mlp fan songs there is!
I Dont get why more people dont make retro music like this? Especially for the fallout equestria fan fic.
sounds like the prohibition........i love it
Thanks for song!
A really nice feel good song with some simplistic yet bueatiful guitar and some nice vocals. Overall, a good song to cheer you up.
I don't want to set the world on fire...
It reminds me to that. Lovely song, you have done a great work here, you should be proud.
This song made me cry!! This song is sooo sad!
Oh my god, if Fallout Equestria has ton of music like this, I'll never stop playing it. :D Absolutely amazing.
Thanks. That's the idea. I've started on a new one, already.
Por alguna razón, este cover parte mi alma :'^

awesome :3
You jinxed it! Nooooooooooo!
One of my favourite pony songs of all time, and one of my favourite Fallout songs as well.
gave this one a crooner twist, it's awesome!
Holy shit this is amazing you just got a sub my good man
Awesome. Thanks a bunch.
I would absolutely love to adopt this as canon to New Pegas... it's spot-on for a certain buck's war-era feelings.
Just finished reading fallout equestria and am on chapter 60 of fallout equestria project horizens. SOOOO GOOOOD!
Melanie Wilson Read Pink Eyes, yo!
Hey werbal i love this! This is soo awsome and i hope u guys continue the radio play becuse if u didnt u would let us.....down. but ur song is awsome and keep it up or my hellhond will get u!
I've never paid my respect to this song, so here I am to say this is just so, so great.
norad2terran Hey, thanks.
I love it! You guys are great!
Holy shit, I love this!
Awesome. Glad it makes you happy.
This is genius
This is the best Ms Derpy mix
Notice Me Senpai Funny how I'm starting to see you everywhere now
I stalk u JK
A: i want to go to that land B: i love derpy
This is just one of songs in Stable 2's Radio stations
this sounds so weird but good to me after listening to the original
Ah. Fallout.
This is brilliant!!!
Great song
So lovelyyyyy
Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the teeth on the stable door are too big to fit into the groves on the doorway?
It's so fucking awesome! Love it! ^^
I'd like a Fallout: Equestria game with this song as the intro, the weird outward pan they do with (almost) every Fallout game accompanying the song.
Great stuff!
Nice work
You should make more of these songs
background music is a form of "I don't want to set the world on fire"
It sounds like something I would listen to in fallout
Pretty sure that's what they were going for....
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!
Combined the instrumental feel of "Maybe" and vocals of "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" Brilliant
(Both songs from Fallout 3 for those that didn't know)
JUST 2 MORE PEOPLE NEED TO VIEW FOR 40,000
when I see this I imagine the doctor singing this to derpy
we need more of this, that way we can make a full radio station for fallout 3 and new vegas. and maybe call it fillyradio or another popular brony radio.
good cover
Why can't I hold all these feels?
Well, you gotta stack 'em right. See how the corners match up. Now, lift with your legs. Careful! There you go. See? I knew you could do it!
This is Falloutastic!!
: D
warbalist I love how this sounds like The Ink SPOTTS. I love it. :D
Awesome. Good to hear. Thanks, man.
Without a doubt your best song. I keep a tab of this open at all times as it's so relaxing and sweet to listen to.
great work ,are you going to do more of this style in the future?
Yes, I plan on it, and thank you.
this is such a good song. No match for Already One Year, but a good song still.
Little pip evidently listens to Forest Rain!
Oh god, Atticus's voice is so awesome to hear... Please tell me he is going to be Steelhooves in the radio play.
He IS in the radio play. That's how we met! Gotta wait for a few more episodes, though... : /
they really nailed it when making it sound, from the 1950s
DASHITE
if I am not mistaken it sounds more like a song from late 40's
+Sonic “Ghost” Dash Totally.
+warbalist :3
yeah, Dash Dash, if you want a feel for 50's Era music, look up the diamonds little darling or the monotones book of love, or Twilight time by the platters
Fricking yes. Love it. Is there anything that voice can't do?
Man, I friggin love Metal Mare for this reason. Oh, and Atticus. That boy's voice is crazy.
Best Version of the song
This is still so fuckin awesome. Is it inspired by I Don't Want To Set the World On Fire? It sounds like it, and it's amazing :D
Thank you so much! Yes, that song and "Maybe" also by the Ink Spots. Ink Spots are amazing.
Yes, they are :D
Reminds me of John McCormack, I love it!
Oh that Ink Spots intro...
