throughout korean history, for koreans China loomed very large, significant, civilized, a culture to admire while Japan was the exact opposite (annoying barbarian, warlike country to be placated until the late 19th century).... so it's probably incorrect for you to say "Koreans used to look down on the Japanese for a LITTLE WHILE" unless you consider a period of more than thousand years as 'little while'..... In Greece, there is almost no visible sign of Turkish (Ottoman) presence of 400 years... most likely due to the Greeks' wish to erase Ottoman memories, which is understandable.... I don't think most people, especially the Greeks, want to see a mosque next to the Acropolis..... what Koreans are attempting do is nothing new or controversial....it's their decision..... May I ask where you are from and what is your education background on Korean history?
Hehe, heyo there, I didn't say their decision is controversial, I said that they consider the names controversial, that's words taken from Korean articles not my words :3 about the a lil while, you can find other vids in which I've mentioned the complicated relationships between China, Korea and Japan I'm aware of the time frame, but you're right maybe I should've been more specific about what I consider a lil while ^-^ I graduated University recently, my degree is in Korean studies, hope this answers your questions.
@@duskytalkz Hey... thank you for the reply... your English is awesome.. love your accent which I was not able to quite pick out... i'll be sure to watch your other videos... and nit pick again😄(it's a joke.. just in case it's not clear)...... btw, how widely is English used in Bulgaria? ...can someone get by without speaking Bulgarian for a week or two in a major city like Sophia?
