[Splatoon 2] Good and Bad Strats in Salmon Run [Funny Moments]

- Many good, bad and funny things can happen during a Salmon Run in Splatoon 2.
Salmon run is a great way to enjoy Splatoon 2 when you are tired of the pressure of ranked.
Collecting many eggs for big moneys and having squid parties at the end of each round sure does feel great, but having people disconnect or spam "This Way!" at the end of the map is also part of the experience.
In this video I show some good and bad strategies/things during Salmon Run. Can you relate to some of these moments?

I remember a clip of me accidentally jumping off with like, 3 seconds left on the last wave with me being the last teammate alive, but since drowning takes a lot longer to actually register as death, the wave was cleared before I was counted dead.

I always get concerned.
They waste all their ink and specials and then they mess up without anything to kill fast at last second
Pro tip: splat bombs in salmon run are sorta like team mates, if the whole team gets wiped but there's a bomb on the field when time runs out it still counts as a wave pass
so if you're surrounded with no teammates near you throw a bomb in the air even if it revives no one it should stall just enough for a win
So one time my team was KO'd...

oml. 😂 this one hurtful moment was when we were at the very few last seconds of a wave and we just needed one more egg to fit the quota. All 3 of us were near the basket waiting as the 4th player had the final egg and was near the basket, us waiting for their egg to complete the quota but right then, they turned right around to do something else! at the very last sec too. it was so funny yet so sad and confusing 😭
i just remember the whole scene of all 3 of us just waiting there and we saw the player leave just like that. i’m 😭😭😭😭

Oh boy do I have a story.
So, once, my WiFi was being extremely crappy. I tried playing Turf Wars and Ranked Battles, didn’t work. So, I wanted to do some Salmon Run. I was at Profreshional so-and-so, and each and every time, I would disconnect before I finished Wave 1. So I took a break, either from Splatoon 2 or played some Hero Mode, as I hadn’t completed it yet. Either later that day or the next day, I come to play Salmon Run to find out that, in one FAITHFUL DAY, I ranked allllll the way back down to Apprentice. When I tell you I spent a few days, maybe even a week or more to get back up to Profreshional, I do not lie...
Also once, I had a clip of myself at Lost Outpost, and I was being chased by a Steel Eel, then it died, jumped around another one, to go into the little area thing and realize all my teammate were dead, with three seconds left on the clock, and I was almost chomped my a Maws.
Dang! Thats tough!

My team was on wave 3, and we needed one more egg to fill the quota.
Some dumbass had the egg we needed but didn't turn it into the basket, even though he was RIGHT NEXT TO THE FUCKING BASKET.
WHY DO YOU THINK OUR WHOLE TEAM WAS SPAMMIMG "THIS WAY" NEAR THE BASKET?!

I would of said, not good bearly surviving wave 3 just to use all your special at the squid party at the end, im ok with the parting but its if someone just spammed their splashdowns or something when they could of used it before to kill the crowd of cohocks that was killing out entire team. yes i do get that sometimes you dont need them but its the times where its great time to use it but they dont and only use it at the end
Also bad when the slayers get in the cannons at the cannon waves, like get out im an eliter what do you think I can do
Good, when people use their weapons to press the zr button and kill salmoneids instead of letting them stack up
also bad when people done stay near the basket in rush/grillers

I used to play mostly ballpoint and kpro (sometimes splat charger). Currently I am switching to custom jet squelcher.
Omg one time all my teamates were dead I bet they were so scared that I might of died during the last wave but you know I’m the real professional here and all i did was run for my life and good thing it was the round with lot of space (couldn’t rescue them in time to celebrate 😭😭
