You're hair looks bomb!!!! When I do braid outs I do not desperate. I typically just pick and fluff the roots to get it as big as I want. While keeping the ends in tack. That's may help to keep the frizz down next time.
skin looks so clear and hair did come out pretty. I've used Maui shampoo and conditioner with a twist out, & although the look was bouncy it made 4c hair frizzy too.

Such a good idea with the braided hairband! My hair is so thick and the front of my hair is a different texture from the back and tends to frizz faster and I end up having to put it up some kind of way. But I'm definitely going to try this for my next braid out!
If that's a fail... GIRL. Your hair is GORGEOUS. My braid outs never come out cute. I have given up on them lol. I can do a twist out but that's about it smh that's why I wear my hair straight all the time.
It's looks good. I live in a humid city so I just embrace the frizz because even if my hair was not frizzy after takedown it usually gets frizzy once I step outside
Just a little tip that may work with frizz.. when I take down my twists or braids, I put a little drop of oil (sometimes coconut, mostly olive) on my fingertips and that helps with a lot because of less friction
I'm definitely gonna try this,besides gel what are some good edge controls you've found for natural hair.because I've tried so many and the least bit of moisture or my curls just get resistant and it's like I never even used anything.
gorilla snot is definitely my go to edge control when i use it and lay my edges down with a scarf its like magic. Also theres an edge control by creme of nature, its ornage and it works really well too. but my hair will not lay down for the whole day if i dont set it with a scarf for at least 10-15 minutes.

Loving the hair! Try twisting (2 strand twist) the hair. Or also try some moose on stretched hair (a dime or nickle size on each plait).
