Aw man I feel bad for the car parked right next to the Jeep!! Whomever goes to get in that car is in for a HUGE shock. Imagine if you didn't know about this and the fire dept handled business and left. You'd def be like WTF happened here???!!!!
Any car that was damaged by the fire would be processed by the police. They would make contact with the owner. By phone or simply a PA message in the hospital to track them down. The Mazda to the right was obviously damaged, the white car on the left its hard to tell but I assume it also sustained significant heat damage.
I've only seen one real parking lot fire. Over six cars burning at same time. The noises! The smells. It was all insane, like a movie, but not! Stuff is scary in real life! No joke! Hope everyone was safe.
There's absolutely NO need for a ladder and a brush truck, you've already got 2 engines, which is MORE than enough. And FFS, learn the BASICS of fighting a car fire. 2nd man, BRING A TOOL with you like you should've been taught. And why the hell are you beating a hole in the windshield of the car next to the Jeep???
Water injection used to be a thing, back in the 1960's. Looks like its back in fashion. Remember when cars had an outside hood release, and a carburetor? Remember when the most complex thing on board was the FM stereo? Progress has not always been a friend to us. Even the fire service has trouble opening up these modern vehicles. And of course its a Jeep on the outside, but is it really a Jeep on the inside? Doubtful. I feel sorry for the Jeep's owner, and for the owner of the Mazda next to the Jeep. They had to gain entry to that vehicle too, to check for fire extension. Good job by the fire service. Quick attack, and fire suppression, before the whole parking lot went up. It happens.
I just watched an hours worth of videos of EVs on fire. Weird thing is they are brand new. One case where they were new, loaded on a ship to transport to dealership. They said the whole entire ship sank due to the fire of VW EVs. Another one was on a car carrier semi-truck. When Tesla's catch on fire the electric windows and doors won't open. You have to have a glass breaker ice pick thing to climb out the window. Rows of expensive new city busses on fire.
It's not, dumbass, it's a gas powered jeep. For every 100K cars 1500 are gas car fires. For every 100K cars, only 25 are electric car fires. By all means, point the finger at an electric car for no reason
I don't know why all these fire departments have a hard time opening the hoods on vehicles. Do what we do. Locate the latch and cut the hood around it. I can have a hood up in a couple of minutes.
Why would there be? And why do you people automatically point the finger at electric cars? For every 100K car fires, 1500 are gas cars, and for every 100K car fires, only 25 are electric cars. But, by all means, point the finger at electric cars.

Thank you for the excellent video. The intro with dispatch and mapping is really neat.
Fantastic editing and love the tone out. Good stuff
thanks Steve you're the man!
Don't know why they smashed the windshield on the blue car. Side windows and moon roof were blown out already. Quick knockdown though.

I keep a small fire extinguisher in my car and hope I never have to use it
Why were they poking holes in the windshield of the car next to it?
I ask that too
Because they are poorly trained volunteers.
I always park as far away in the lot as possible. Someone just has to park right next to you-and look at the damage they cause. SHEESH
That's impossible here. The lot is always packed with cars, even the back. OMC has a shuttle to off site parking.
This is why I park like an island in the middle of the sea lol
WIND being a major factor
As usual no one uses the deck gun to lay down BIG water in a timeley way.
Excellent video bro!
Wow fully involved Jeep
This video was filmed on my moms birthday
Good job, 23.

Not sure why they wanted to kill the jeeps windshield so bad lol
Liked and shared
😳🙄Why they broke the blue jeeps windshield..🤔🤦🏻♀️
Great video
That is the pisser about a car fire in a parking lot. It mostly ends with 3 or more vehicle's destroyed or damaged.
Why you didn't finish filming the hole thing?
Because he is a crappy channel with a bad attitude to the police/ fire/ EMS. Check out his other videos he thinks he is a IKE.. I know everything
great footage!
It's a Grand Cherokee Toaster Oven....
Good job
I swear I could smell it burning. Lol. I have a newer model JEEP like this one. Good job guys
Multiple exposures?
Yes..
@@jerseyshorefireresponse Exposures to what? Chemicals?
Exposures in fire protection context refers to adjacent property, vehicles, etc., that are at risk of damage or spread of fire.
@@TomWa adjacent cars, as well as the building

In 40 years I have NEVER needed a second line for a car fire.

It’s usually Chrysler cars that catch fire for some reason, Jeep is part of Chrysler obviously.

They were there fighting a fire, not planning a heist
They were in as fast as practically possible. The hood was smooth as hell
there firemen what do they know there just good playing with there hose...lol
