At 8.47 mins it's possible to see the effort that went into the design of the rear lights ??? . It must have taken years to get them that perfect !!! . They are very beautiful cars ... and silent inside when driving . New cars ???....... Tyre ROAR with shock waves almost giving passengers hernias !!!
North Carolina USA here. I have the same wheels on my US Lister Spec’d XJ-SC….5 spd manual. V12. except mine are silver. On the inside mine say Belgian Macho-2. I can’t read your center cap.
Your Lister XJ-SC sounds very special. I have only ever seen a Lister convertible in white. My car is the arctic blue '89 XJ-S Coupe parked on the hill in- line with around 60 other XJS. I think you may be refering to the modified XJ-S on the hard standing area I featured. In which case I'll need to check my raw footage and see if I can identify.
F68 GWB car. I have only seen those wheels on Lister Jags. They came in 15” or 16”. Yours and mine have the subtle difference of having 3 I. Er rows of dimples. Most jags just have 1 or 2 rows of inner dimples. I love my wheels.
@@2020mike1 Mine are Fondmetal alloys and are believed to have originated from a Lynx Eventer car. That's anecdotal "evidence" shared by the person I bought the wheels from.
Mine is customised to how I like it so it has pace. XJS certainly has many idiosyncrasies but these make it so different and unique in some respects. XJ12 is a very fine car. I think XJS is marginally faster due to its lower CD factor.
I don't agree at all, I'm a licensed mechanic for 45 years, and I have worked on every car you can imagine.. there are very few cars that can be bought with an incredible V-12, that you can easily massage it to 400 + HP,,, suspension again easily altered or purchase to increase handling without ever losing refinement.. my sons fully custom 86 xjs, is fully polished, engine, everything else chromed, custom rear suspension, new custom interior with sound deafening material throughout the entire car,, etc,etc.. this will out perform half the cars with 100 times more technology, ride better than all, sound incredible, and every single human and some animals are absolutely amazed by the car..
@@lebojay no problem.. don't get me wrong, I love the 4dr jags, especiallythe older ones... not all GTs are as long and as beautiful as an xjs.. also I have to figure out how to download some images on these bloody phones.. lol
I’ve been admiring these cars for 35 years, and I have one now, and I still can’t decide whether or not I prefer the quad headlights.
Lovely cars the XJS, good ones are getting expensive again now. Nice video and great knowledge of the various models.
lovely, and my old girls gunno be back on the road in the next few weeks.
Stunning vedeo ! These old girls are so nice. Thank you so much for sharing.
The pre HE cars are lovely, I think I prefer the auto in an XJ-S though.
Great to see your video. Love to see all the different XJS on display. Great bit information , helps with my knowledge too.

Attention sadly soon All Gas cars will be illegal in EU and USA!
I don't get the XJS. It's no faster than the XJ12, but lacks the grace & space. It makes no sense to me.

You just described every GT. Some people just prefer two doors.
The XJ Coupe checks both boxes, but they’re much rarer and more valuable than an XJS.
@@petehalasz7547 post links to your son’s car please!
