Damn rob gotta give it to u man havent seen anyone put so much hardwork into his channel the fact that u read the books to understand the game is just amazing. Rob mob for ever
Blood and Wine will blow your mind Rob . I think you should prepare well before diving into that DLC, like brewing potions, crafting oils, and getting gear for Roach ... I can't wait
Yeah kinda crazy he still hasn't seen the runewright. I get that he can get by because the game is pretty easy, but for someone that seems to really like the game, he hasn't delved very deep in the build customization
Gaunter O dimm is greatest villain ever in gaming in my opinion and probably the best depiction of devil in any form of media. You would notice his theme go from mysterious to more sinister as you start to know him more and we should tip our hats to the music director for cdpr.
Hey Rob if you are interested in what O Dimm says at the end its not jiberish. Its a collection of sentences in different languages that have all been translated, you can check it online.
Great job Rob! I highly suggest you read the professor's diary that you got after he died. You'll truly feel how Gaunter is terrifying and cruel. Can't wait for Blood and Wine!
Hearts of Stone plot is an adaptation of an old Polish folk legend about an alchemist called Twardowski who pacted with the Devil. Instead of insisting on a meeting on the Moon, Twardowski asked the devil to meet him in Rome, where Twardowski never intended to go. So the devil lured the man to an inn called Rome. However, unlike in Hearts of Stone, Twardowski managed to escape the devil, on a magical flying rooster, all the way to the Moon, where he lives to this day. Or so people say. You can't get much better than old folk tales :)
Pro tip, go find the Ekhidna decoction. You will never need food or healing potions again with this decoction. Casting signs with this decoction active will restore a chunk of health.
Beautiful. Well done. I appreciate how serious you take my favorite game, unlike the other people I quit watching mid way thru. Good luck in Beauclair. I hope you truly want a happy ending!
Good job man - keep grinding, awesome playthrough. Hope you will enjoy B&W DLC as well. Now that you've finished - Gaunter O Dimm (GOD) - master of the mirror - reflection. So he's probably the Devil. The entire expansion is also based on the Polish legend about Mr. Twardowski (a Polish nobleman) who made a pact with the devil. And the legend about Twardowski itself refers to Goethe's Faust. The expansion itself has many references to Polish culture, pop culture, but not only that - for example the first scene in which we meet Olgierd, who destroys a marble statue (Venus de Nilo). At the very end of the expansion, in the Lilvani temple, there are also marble statues in the background (the same as at the beginning of the expansion). Or even the eternal references to the moon (the scene with Shani) or tips on how to defeat Gaunter.
Blood and Wine is going to blow you away. It's better than most games' main story. Way better. It was unbelievable when i played it when it first came out.
I typically never comment, but i had to say thanks for putting so much effort on creating content for us. I truly appreciated, and for some it might be just videos, but for me it makes my day happier. Thank you.
Probably too late now but in the mirror challenge you missed the Venomous Viper Silver Sword hidden there - can't be bought or found after - if you want the full viper school set you will need to reload from the beginning of that section - love the videos keep it up!
To me personally this is my favorite gaming experience I have ever had and it has been awesome to see you play through the Witcher 3. I can’t wait to see your experience with blood and wine as it’s the most unique dlc experience I have had in gaming.
This has been the best upload series of the year and the consistency of uploads is godly. If this impresses let’s see what he thinks of blood and wine 🔥🔥 If you pair the DLC’s with the main game in my eyes Witcher 3 is still undefeated
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but a pro tip for the future maybe: Find the runewright and do his quest, and enchant your swords with Severance. Makes "tedious" fights with easy monsters less tedious with Whirl.
Aaand another one down! Congrats! Damn... it's been so amazing to revisit these stories through your series. I wish I could wipe this game from my memory and have this kind of first time experience again. I'm jealous. Can't wait for you to play Blood and Wine. By the way, I highly recommend reading the professor's journal about O'Dimm. Gives me chills every time.
Hey Rob, Gaunter O'Dimm is probably the most powerful creature in the witcher 3. He did not really die, you just beat him at the challenge. There is no chance Geralt beats him in boss fight (if both of them opt into one instead of the challenges) as he is regarded as the devil itself.
Rob, you are gonna have a real bad time if you don’t change your build for blood and wine. Some recommendations, craft both ursine swords, put on either school of the cat or school of the griffin in the skill tree (the brown ones, cat for more damage, griffin for more stamina regeneration) If you invest 15k on the ofiri merchant, you can enchant your swords and armor.
Blood and wine next! Let's GOOO! Also, i would recommend spending alot of time in Blood and Wine. There is alot to do and alot to see. I would not go main quest to main quest and rush through. It has so much to offer and the side quests are great.
You can do a quick reload and beat Guther in his game again but first find the Viper Silver sword in that creepy place-it's worth it and part of the complete set..you won't be able to in the next dls
Blood & Wine is excellent, it's bigger, it's got much going for it. But the story of Hearts of Stone is unbeatable. For me it is still the best story in any game, at any time. Olgierd and Iris are the greatest tragic characters in all gaming.
You should also check the rewards you get from Odim if you side with him. Also get the enchantments from the ofieri dude they help a lot and for blood and wine get a witcher armor set maxed the bosses and mobs are really no joke. Also two things i wish i knew before i finished blood and wine ( no spoiler ) is the mutation system and the buffs you get from sleeping. Good luck o/
there are theories that Gaunter O'Dimm is the devil of the Witcher universe or a cross roads demon or another character based on his "initials" no one really knows who he is but he is a very interesting character that's for sure...
Can't wait to see your reaction to B&W, I always save olgierd on new game plus. If you let o'dimm take his soul you get some really cool rewards that carry over to new game plus. My first run i always let olgierd die to get the best saddle in the game it turns roach into a demonic looking demon horse. It's just almost pointless to save olgierd if you ever plan on playing new game plus because his sword will never be viable in B&W. It's a solid and fun gimmick weapon on new game plus, you can get it to be level 100 if you start new game + at like level 64 or 65 which takes alot of time even finishing all the quests and discovering everything only gets you to level 60ish. Useless rant over lol
I restarted my playthrough because I read how yen actually is and why she’s like that honestly don’t care tho game has its moments when it’s horse shit but honestly the game Is🔥🔥🔥
One of the most popular theories about Witcher 3 is who Gaunter O'Dimm really is. Your close when you said he's the devil, but the theory is is that he's the god of the Witcher universe. First just look at the initials of his name, then theres his powers where hes able to control time and natural storms and perform incredibly powerful magic and curses, but my favorite evidence is what he said when you asked him who he is, he responded that anyone who knows who he truly is suffers a fate worse than death or is dead ; i dont know bout you but if i learned my creator is pure evil and made the world as brutal as it is just to fuck with mortals it would mess me up.
I bealive Olgierd is worse. He lured you into contract for a man that he cursed, He plundered, kill everybody, kill his own brother. I always chose Odim, he is lesser evil from olgird. And olgierd chose to have contract with odim he must pay for his contract.
Man said where's the boss fight, you saw him walk on air and stop time. There is no scenario where you are winning.
Still didn't find the Ofieri merchant
Yeah kinda crazy he still hasn't seen the runewright. I get that he can get by because the game is pretty easy, but for someone that seems to really like the game, he hasn't delved very deep in the build customization
Actually like that there's no real fight with O'Dimm. Besting him in a game is probably the only way Geralt could win anyways.
exactly O'Dimm always wanted to make things interesting. fits him perfectly
The dog in the past video tells you the answer to the riddle the mirror that can't be broken . water
damn

A boss fight would make no sense. He can control everything.

Sad that you did not find the secret sword in gaunter challenge
viper venomous silver sword i think

Damn the consistency is unreal. Keep enjoying the game there is lot more to come !!

I still remember when I played the main game and it’s 2 dlcs. Left such an impression on me. Wish I could revisit that first play through again.

Also thanks for getting me onto the Witcher game its a banger 🫡

the title makes it seem he didn't like it
Phenomenal game and DLCs. And bro, Robs got a voice on em!
I've played this game since 2015 launch and just yesterday found out Emhyr is Tywin Lannister.
God, but this makes me want to replay the whole game again. I'm due for my yearly replay.

watch other ending of this when you dont help olgierd
in next video please
I can already picture how amazed you will be in "Blood and wine" meeting 1 character (rly I already can hear screams)
FR
The character is the best bro a bro could be

You need to find the ofieri merchant, there are still upgrades to be found
Devil pretending to be GOD(Gaunter O'Dimm)
Hhholy shit that pure tone
there are theories that Gaunter O'Dimm is the devil of the Witcher universe or a cross roads demon or another character based on his "initials" no one really knows who he is but he is a very interesting character that's for sure...
This upload schedule is of one of all time
I agree it definitely is one of the dlcs of all time
You missed all of the unique loot in Gaunter O Dimm's game

Yo rob u should use the spinning attack, actually a crazy ability however I am unsure of its effectiveness in death match
47:57 my ps4 background
Notice how everyone says the word "Devil" after gaunter o dimm disappears
Imo hearts of stone is better but both made me happy :) have fun mate
wine and Blood is even Better
You missed one sword in the mirror game .. :(
Spinning blades mate, that’s what you want on your setup. Enjoy the sword skills, destroy anyone
yeah rob actually played witcher 3 before :(((
Rob Man U should do horizon zero dawn for your next plat
Imagine if they just Played Gwent 🤣
I restarted my playthrough because I read how yen actually is and why she’s like that honestly don’t care tho game has its moments when it’s horse shit but honestly the game Is🔥🔥🔥

Blood and wine is way better DLC than hearts of stone. You're not ready.
I bealive Olgierd is worse. He lured you into contract for a man that he cursed, He plundered, kill everybody, kill his own brother. I always chose Odim, he is lesser evil from olgird. And olgierd chose to have contract with odim he must pay for his contract.
A bad man that turns evil because of a pact or the devil himslf, hmmm
Nice try gaunter o'dimm I see through your disguise
