I’ll always remember that 2017 playoff run and how close they were to going to the finals. What a career for Anderson. Hats off to him.

Talbot hugging Anderson reminded me of when Anderson got a shutout in his first game back in a while during his wife's cancer battle, and Talbot stayed on the bench after being named the 2nd star of the game to applaud Craig, who was the 1st star of the game. A great send-off for Andy!

I always had tremendous respect for him after that. It's too bad he couldn't have won that 2017 Cup with Ottawa. Congrats on a great career, Craig!

I remember Craig Anderson when he was in Colorado and when I saw him play I instantly became a fan right next to Ryan Miller he was my second favorite goaltender and when he went to Ottawa he had some memorable seasons with them and ohh so close to going to the Stanley Cup finals. When the Sabres signed him I was like ugh couldn't we have him ten years ago, but what a great leader and human being he was and to see my second favorite goalie get a last home game win for my team is just special. Congrats on an amazing career Andy you will truly be missed.
