As a GM genji, that's a fair point to make but genji isn't that bad in comp you should play genji like sombra were you bait abilities like suzu and ana sleep and ultimates like lucio beat and zen ult. Also, you should play as a distraction to the support. But the only time you shouldn't play genji is if they have 2 or more genji counters bc not like most characters, he can't work around his counters without being useless. Since last season since the hp buff genji not only became bad but harder to play but he could still get value and is far from being useless in comp its weird that genji is like this because his one of the most iconic character genji is the main reason I play this game my friend used to be bad at the game and wanted to learn to play genji so learned how to play genji to teach my friend how to play genji and I would coach him until he got really good at genji but he later learned other characters like tracer his really good at tracer btw but I still stick with genji because I was really good at him until ow2 came around because it made genji harder to play but I didnt care because genji wasn't useless but I believe genji needs a rework not to make him easier to play but be able to play around his counters easier if I would make a genji rework this is what I would do. First give him a Double clime so you can clime a wall double jump and clime another wall this can allow genji to escape flanks easier with out using dash. Next give dash a bigger damage radius and making direct shots do more damage and last give deflec a reduction on ability that can go through it like Moira suck or zaria beam. Their also the stupid score bored that is really inaccurate so yeah. Idk what rank or skill you have on genji but having 750 hrs on genji probably shows that you are very good at the cool cyber ninja guy so I hope this helps also if lxrazer reads this comment I think we should have a genji 1v1
