We know from two things, firstly the bite force of the tiger is much more powerful around 400 pounds to be exact. Wrong. Tigers always come close to cars and stuff. Many lions react to humans in cars. It depends on the individual. Some do, some dont.
The lion being a social animal has nothing to do with this. Lions are actually more angry and less social animals than tigers.
Tigers are intelligent enough to recognise humans are sitting in something...that is why you find video tiger chasing cars , mauling mahavat who is sitting above elephant.
