Yeah bears have more stamina than any species of cat. As much as I love tigers 🐅 they do get tired quickly which is why they stalk their prey instead of chasing them

That female bear used sheer will to save her sow to defeat that tiger. If she didn’t have a sow, she would most likely lose this fight. These sloth bears look unkept with their long hair - maybe an adaptation to surviving tiger mauls despite being relatively small.

But on occasions sloth bears also kill tigers. Long as the bear can stay out of the choking death grip, it can outlast the tigers stamina. Luckily this was just territorial, a mother tiger with cubs in the vacinity, is much more ferocious and relentless. This bear definitely earned his life to keep.

The tiger actually did a huge number on the Sloth bear u can tell by it’s wounds if u look close enough. The flesh is exposed which means it will get infected and the bear most likely won’t live long since it is now weak which makes it vulnerable but hey she did what she had to do for her cub

Breaks my heart to see a moma have to fight for her life to protect her child. She was valiant and stood her ground, but she was severely injured. Who knows if she was able to recover. At least the cub looked old enough to strike out on its own if it had to. Hopefully it learned to take care of moma while she recovered.
The male bear came charging at the Tiger like it would any other threat. It didn't discriminate against who the offender was - He did what any apex species would, and make no mistake, the bear is an apex PREDATOR, he attempted to dominate his foe. However, the bear had terrific endurance and the Tiger was too gas to attempt to finish him off. Great match.

The sloth bear was able to keep up, but it was way more enjured than the tiger (actually I don't think the tiger was enjured at all). I wonder if the poor bear survived the injuries. Even if it did, it was vulnerable to other tigers and bears for some time.

Breaks my heart to see a moma have to fight for her life to protect her child. She was valiant and stood her ground, but she was severely injured. Who knows if she was able to recover. At least the cub looked old enough to strike out on its own if it had to. Hopefully it learned to take care of moma while she recovered.

The Tiger had great wrestling skills but used too much energy trying to keep the bear pinned down. In MMA, you want to be on top of your opponent because your opponent is using up their energy resisting your weight.
