      @Airgunmarksmanofficial  2 месяца назад

      @roberttomlin3143 each gun gets used every day for at least a week before we do any filming.
      The decision is based mainly on how the gun is all week, the target shooting is to attempt to show its capability.
      We are going to get the top guns all in on the same day for a video, with our best shooters.
      See which is best, like you say, in the same conditions.

      We will be doing a series on budget guns next.
      Krals won't stand a chance, because of the poor quality barrels....
      Reximex are just krals finished better, with a few small bonuses (like spring guides) and the Rm8 is good, if you can keep it working for long enough.

    Hi..Phil ..Im a professional pest controller and an FX fan ..I’ve owned 8..never had a problem ..currently own an M3 .177..BUT.. I recently purchased the Dynamic take down .22 which didn’t meet my expectations !! Quite dramatic pellet drop off after a couple of mags and the reach was too long when wearing a jacket..my Brocock Ranger XR is more accurate out to 50m ( some say the cylinder is too small ..48 shots per fill..ever tried carrying more than 10 rabbits or a dozen squirrels any distance.. 🤔😆)..just ordered an M4 compact .177 so we will see how this performs ..great info again Phil more please 👍

    • @Airgunmarksmanofficial
      @Airgunmarksmanofficial  2 месяца назад +1

      @alanvaughan4143 hello mate, thanks for watching.
      What's causing the drop off after a couple of mags? Is the fps going down or is it the point of impact?
      There's always going to be the odd issue with guns made for the American market which get strangled down for us, rather than a gun that's purpose built for it.
      I spend most of my time building, repairing and tuning airguns to make them run as they should.......
      Most of the time the plenum size is off, the reg pressure and hammer tension is out of balance or the transfer port is wrong, causing all sorts of issues.
      Thanks again for watching!

    • @alanvaughan4143
      @alanvaughan4143 2 месяца назад +2

      @@Airgunmarksmanofficial …not sure what the problem was ….point of impact was the primary issue but length of pull was the reason ..being under warranty I traded the Dynamic back in against the Mk4 Impact Compact .!! Being 3/4in too long with no further adjustment was a problem for me when squirrel popping as the stock kept hooking in my jacket … I still own a fully sorted ( sub 12) MK3 so I’m hoping the Compact will balance the same as most of my shooting ( squirrels) is free hand ( I don’t use bait stations) due to vandalism…will be testing any springers ??

      @nigelhumphreysfsuk2833 I know exactly what you are saying, mate. It's something I repeat often.
      The FX range were designed for accuracy at higher power levels, so strangling one down to meet UK sub12 is never going to result in the best performance.
      But what I have noticed, is that modern guns designed for power tend to be more accurate at longer range than a 'traditional' airgun, like the hw100.
      Eg, the AGT vixen will out perform the hw100 for accuracy at 75m, but sub 12 is useless for anything other than plinking at that range.
      It all depends on what your use fpr the gun is.

      @Naughtyparson-lu7qx. yes, that's what daystate are doing mate 100%..... and they are the only company doing so, BUT not in the correct direction.
      they really just seem to be overcomplicating things that don't really need innovation.
      It's almost like they don't want to work on more effective regulators, better magazine systems, better barrels for slugs etc..... they are mainly fannying around with faulty electronics, which don't really serve much purpose.
      They are a premium product but they just aren't as innovative or as reliable as many others on the market.
