I'm having to live this song now more than ever. There will never be another Dottie Rambo. And I think she looked so beautiful (she always did) but even more on this particuliar night. Larry, God must have thought the world of you to have chosen you, and He was right, no one could've ever took care of Dottie like you did, you my friend, are also a treasure too.
Wonderful song and I never get tired of listening to her - hearing her laugh and seeing her smile! Thankfully she is no longer in pain from her back or the pain in her heart.
Dottie has always been beautiful but WHO let her go on camera with her makeup like this?? This is NOT how she has ever looked before. I did her makeup enough in years past to know this is not how she liked to look. Surely she didn't do this herself. God Bless her! I just hurt my heart to see her like this.
I have bought all of Dotties books and even Bucks. I have watched video after video. I would have loved to have met her during my journey and been able to sit with her and just listen. BUT I still have no idea why she used signing and when did she learn it. Can anyone help me out?
+Robin Henning Dottie used signing because she thought it was beautiful and added an element to some of her songs that lent themselves to beautful sign language. She did sign language for many years - going back to the late 70's to the best of my memory. You missed a real treasure by not knowing her. She was an amazing lady who survived more than most of us could ever have.
