  • Prepare whilst you move!
Often we move then prepare for a stroke, on this occasion due to time we must prepare whilst we move.
    1. Move your feet - towards the target (ball)
    2. Rotate - turn your waist (elevated power and disguise)
    3. Bring the arm back - coil your playing hand ready to whip it into action.
If you can get these three elements working together to will elevate efficiency and quality at the same time.

Short but great video on footwork. I also liked seeing a left-hander hit (since I'm also one). Stay safe and well.

@@idrivearttabletennis thank you David 🙌 yes the academy is very special. Currently looking for a studio to make special TT videos again. But for now I don’t have the right tools to make good videos.

Does anyone know if this channel has a video about receiving long services? Before, the short ones close to the net and cut ones were very difficult for me, now I know that I should approach the net and push gently, but in the long serves there are some that are usually fast that I don't know how to answer. Should I try a backspin or an FH or BH? Or if you know of any video about this, I thank you, in my language I searched but I did not find

no way? really? If it does my wife must have paid google lots of money to say it lol. Very kind words, I don't hide the fact that I genuinely wish to be the best coach but I also think it's subjective.
In simple terms what sets a coach apart from others is:
      1. Open-minded, and continuously looking to grow and develop
      2. Understanding, meaning they listen to their players and try to find out how to make them the best they can be.
      3. Caring for me it's the most important element. if a coach cares about his/her students they will do everything in their power to empower their players.
      thanks again lovely comment

I have a question. Imagine you are standing in the center of a horizontal clock drawn on the floor. Directly in front of you is 12:00 and to your right is 3:00
For forehand topspin or loop, at which hour do you connect paddle & ball??? 3:00? or 1:00?

Depends on your dominant eye and whether you rotate your head (when tracking the ball) as the it approaches your fh. It also depends on your technique, are you a forearm (elbow close to the body) or player or a shoulder (Elbow far from the body). It also depends if you wish to go town the line of cross court
I hope understood the question correctly? You mean when do you connect with the ball. (My answer)
Or where do you connect on the ball? (I misunderstood the q)
