Everyone that saw killing Eve knew she deserved all the awards, literally one of the best performances ever on TV! She's scary talented
They should do her a script where she's the suspect in a murder, and she has to adopt a series of different characters to find out the truth, like a film noir where the supposed femme fatale is innocent and becomes the detective.
I still hate the Emmy for not even giving her a NOM from killing Eve season 1,it was like watching the Dark Knight and not nominating heath ledger! She can be great like Leonardo di caprio if she works with the right directors

Christian Silva - I think that was a business marketing decision, to put Sandra up for awards for the 1st series as that would help sell a new show to the U.S audience.

Jodie Comer is THE best actor of Our day. What She does is way beyond acting, she transforms her entire being into a different person. And she 'gets' nuance which is what puts Her in a Master Class. KE is overt, in your face but it's the nuance that makes it exquisite. Few actors are such a total package. I always see their slips out of character or lack of depth n nuance. Never saw that once w Jodie. Her acting is, for lack of a better term; Complete. There is no one else that could 'BE' Villanelle. Jodie Comer is the perfect choice. Thank you Ms Comer, you've made me fall in love w a psychopathic assassin. "Oh Dear"

I knew this girl would win an Emmy since the third episode of Killing Eve when she did that incredible scary face at the club before killing you know who... that smile was so fucking scary that left me speechless, then by the second season she literally deserved an Emmy for every episode, the "I don't feel anything" speech locked the win.
Right? she got my full attention when she effortlessly mimicked that guy in the opening scene of that ice cream parlour.

It’s beautiful how fate works. 2 years ago, she met PWB when they were both relative unknowns. Fast forward to present day and both are blowing up in incredible ways, both winning the BAFTA and the Emmy at the same time too. So excited to see what the future holds for them both.

Villanelle is fearless. But, Jodie is fearless in her portrayal as well. She has the talent, and she "went for it" and it worked.

I think it's always to a great credit of the actor when you see them out of their role, and you think, "wow, they are sooo different". Like, contrary to Villanelle, Jodie is so sweet and humble and just so genuine. But even that aside, she's shown such huuge range in her role as Villanelle. What a gem of an actress.

Pure, electric, raw, powerful talent. This series def showcased that but she shines in everything she does.
It’s not often actors can talk without opening their mouth and through their eyes. You see the gears of their characters mind churning and it brings the characters to life. her and Sandra are masters at that and what making killing Eve amazing. It’s great dialogue but powerful silences and simple looks the convey so much.
