In Prof. Roubini's AIP, it means that all issues have to be considered and have to be looked at from all angles as a whole, not just any single issue separately e.g. economy, finance, climate, geopolitics, racial, inequality, political systems etc. AND THEY ARE ALL NOT WORKING NOW. And according to 「易經」, the first step is to start unblocking channels and in 'time' we may get to 「泰」卦局, when all are unblocked and only then we may enter a longer lasting peaceful "globalized" world again. My view.
Respectfully, What is stabile about the Central Banks of the globe’s fiat currencies that create money with a keystroke that isn’t backed by anything tangible. (OPEC Oil no longer backs the US Dollar propping it up when deals are cut directly to Russia, China, and other countries allowing use of their own currencies.) Now apply that to the Central Banks new Digital Currencies and we are comparing the same thing by your description of Crypto’s. Keeping the discussion honest, open, also defining the subject more clearly. One is controlled by governments and the generic combined Central Bank Association controlling the populations of the world and the other one (Crypto’s) allows freedom without privileges granted. So what do you want? Control the people or the people free to choose? Not being argumentative, asking a real human question. (** Before the response, absolutely discernment is nescessary because there are criminals and bad actors who have set up scams to discredit Cryptos. But let’s not forget all the different banks that have criminals laundering money (or the Bernie Maddoff’s or Enron’s when we get to the stock market). Being fully honest with disclosure changes the discussion a bit.
Sounds like negative economic growth is coming. If an adequate energy solution is found, such as Green Hydrogen or Fusion, which could reduce inflation and create growth consistent with a Carbon Tax and UBI, it could be a path to reduce the pain and some of the other mega threats to come.
Edison generator and dynamos power plants are green and very inexpensive power plants and vehicles. We are grossly misinformed about power generation we don't need nuclear steam or fossil fuels steam to produce electricity or transportation.

IMHO Roubini overuses the word "scam", thereby ruining his credibility. I think it's fair to talk about crypto being an extremely risky, unproven asset. I think he can fairly and legitimately warn against getting involved with it, particularly if you are in a marginal financial position. He can even say that it seems like a silly idea to him. Fine. But to call it a "scam" has a particular meaning. Bitcoin and Ethereum (and several others) are clearly not "scams". For a variety of reasons, they may not work. But lots of new ventures and enterprises fail. It doesn't mean they were "scams".
