I must say it was a relief, when you found a front door after all…..(down the stairs). I had a horrible picture of that poor woman climbing that rickety old ladder to enter her home from that barn, as you did. This video left me with unanswered questions though…..as seemed like a crazy floor plan. I can’t help but wonder who built and planned this odd type of home. Perhaps it was rented out sections of the house, as it appeared multiple kitchens…..but only noticed one bathroom. Thanks as always for your most interesting tour of of abandoned homes. See you again in your next visit. 💋🧚🏻♀️
It's a beautiful house very clean to be abandoned so long. I love your videos. You're so kind and caring when it comes to these houses? And they have belongings. God bless you.
That chair in her bedroom...FANTASTIC!! The crystal in the cabinet...wow. The painting of the forest, so pretty! You can feel the life in the kitchen. So strange to have the new part of the house built into the old part. I just wish we could've gone out the front door, to see what she saw.
Please I like watching your video of castles but I am interested in the architecture si to see the castles outside facade is very imp for me. Most castles abandoned anyway have been vandalized or used by sqaters I do not think any owners would have thrown book all over on floors, so please always show the facade. Hi from Arizona, United States! I recently began following your explorations and I am hooked. I admire the care you take for all the places you visit. It seems as though the empty part of this home held up better than the other part. Everything does look clean, not much dust. Anyway, thank you so much!
Hey Lesley! What a pleasant afternoon you gave me this wednesday with this wonderful video: amazing and modern details, electric light working! For a few moments I transported myself to the mansion, as if I where there in a a beautiful dream! You deserve lots of applause!!!!👏👏❤🇧🇷
The stories that you tell along with your tours of these fantastic places makes me keeps me coming back looking content! I love that you speak of the people with high regard and treat their belonging with such respect. You have a true talent and passion with presenting your work!
Every time I see one of these I am more determined to buy a rural mountain hostel- so that until I die I can be surrounded by adventurous young people! My house where I live alone is just too similar to most of these- I even have a 1903 Singer.... :(
Much deep respect for Mrs. Susan and her home. I used to live near Homburg, Germany and one evening, I drove to Luxembourg to dine in one of its finest French restaurants. It was such a beautiful and wonderful experience that I will never forget. I agree, Luxembourg is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing Mrs. Susan's special abandoned home tour. 🙏🏻💕🙏🏻
Hey Lesley, love Susan's home, it was the unending house, there were doors after doors. It was such an unusual way to enter the house, that ladder looked so scary, please be careful! Susan was very neat, I don't think I have ever seen a house that neat. She was very religious, when you went up to the attic, there was a cross with Jesus Christ hanging up on the wood. Great exploring, stay safe, love ya!
Your heart through these ventures is so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. God has chosen you to tell their stories as best as you can and for such a young man, your heart and wisdom will take you far. Your respect is so special.
Thank you for giving such honor and respect to the lives of these people. It is beautiful to be able to tell their story and for us to learn about them. Many prayers and blessings to you and all you come across 🥰
Hi Lesley ,it was a lovely surprise to turn my iPad on an another great video, lovely cosy home ,it’s always sad when it looks as though they went out an never came back take care lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
Hi Ann Smith, Yes, I actually had the same thoughts. Such an unexpected surprise! First a wonderful video from Lesley, then an also amazing video from Maureno! How cool is that! The Wednesday evening couldn't get any better. - Stay safe, peace and kindest regards.
I am so glad to have stumbled upon your channel, I feel like I'm following a great historian thru time, much respect to the brother's work. I'm now on a journey thru all of your work.Stay safe you two and God bless your future!
Everything once you cherished, will left alone to rot. Your loving self when you leave this life, will turn to dust. Home that once was your peaceful heaven, will be home for spiders. We are all here on this earth, on a temporary basis, isn't that so? What we should gather then...? Neither money nor any kind of physical property but relief...peace of mind. Seek only for relief, live happily and die happily. This is what I learn to firmly believe from your videos dear Lesley, and let me thank you thousand times for this. Stay safe! Love from Sri Lanka!
Low what a wonderful place wish it could be saved and have a family with laughter in it. There isn't that much damage in it. Thank you Leslie I loved this place.
Thank you for being so respectful, not only with the house but with the belongings and photos of those who have lived there! Kind regrdas from El calafate. Glaciers national Park. Patagonia-Argentina.
Heyy Lesley, how wonderful to watch an Urbex video in the middle of the week! - How great is that! - That is a very nice mansion. Incredible to see all the furniture and a lot of other personal items in such an untouched shape - and of course to see the electricity still working. - The furniture and the pictures on the walls of that nearly empty room looked like a museum. - I found the walking dresser of the lady of this mansion quite fascinating to see with all her clothes left abandoned in the wardrobes, as if she would return in any moment. The living room with the very comfortable sofa, armchairs and the beautiful cabinets with the displayed glasses was very beautiful to see, - actually a legit time capsule. Wonderful explore, my friend! I enjoyed watching, - and once more it was so nice to see how respectfully and with great tenderness you were approaching the history of this mansion and the background story of the former owners. - These empty rooms, you found in that mansion, were on the other hand somehow strange to see. What might have been the purpose of that empty living space? Take care, stay safe, dear bro, and I am of course looking very much forward to your next explore adventure. Many hugs and blessings! - Peace and kindest regards.
What a wonderful and beautiful house. I couldn't believe how big it is.. I wish a family would buy this house. I'd love to live there. The antiques are gorgeous. What a lovely find..
I'm now in my 60s I think we're did my life go why does it speed up so fast as we get older it's scary how quickly our lives come and go so fast.when I started a family it felt like I had forever to do things but you don't once your kids start teenage years you will not have them for long the younger years are a blessing to hold onto and to do alot for yourself and your kids before it gets too late to make beutiful memories. I'm glad I had but IV made mistakes I wish I hadn't thou ,I find grandkids are second chances to do it better you learn as you get older what's so important,I don't wont togo to my grave with regrets. I love my life.
I enjoy watching your shows and documentaries, I also enjoy all the vintage furniture, my husband and I recently purchased from a thrift store an 1837 vanity, dresser and a gentleman nightstand, for like $495 each, I love old houses furniture.
Interesting place!!! Sooo very many stairs & ladders in this place! Good thing that no one that lived here was handicapped!!! Maybe the second floor, with the short doorways, were the children’s part of the house! Beautiful wooden, antique furniture! Sad to see it go to waste!!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure with us Leslie! I truly loved it 👍❤️
I’m really impressed with how clean the house is. Also a minimalist style in the furnishings. It looks like someone could still be living there. Great work Leslie as always.
I'm totally vibing with the Bros of Decay and Explomo!! I love it. Thanks, guys, for all your work, dedication, history, and most of all, taking us fans along for the ride!
She may have had boarders, and during the war may have hidden people...But in 1900's they may have had a big family before Susan was ever there... wonder when it was built that would help establish a timeline.. Thank you so much for showing us Susan's home and life she had.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful place to us. You always show it with respect to Ms. Susan. Photos of her and their wedding picture so lovely. Greetings from Alabama 🍷🥂📸 Oh I was surprised with a Wednesday documentary 🎉 . A much needed one after a ok day at work. Thank you Lesley ❤️
Lesley, I came across your channel when I was taking care of my Mom. She and I got hooked on watching many episodes. She was 90! When she passed. She and I noticed how gentle a young man you are and so respectful. Has anyone told you you have a soft voice? It is kind and you seem so knowledgeable. I noticed you even appreciate the fine work in the spostry of the furnature. I am with you , that stairway is memorizing! I believe that the prettiest one we have seen. You even show us the suits and clothes they wore. I have a question, how did they laundry the suits back then? Don't think they had dry cleaners. Please be careful out there God bless you and your brother. Ginny , Florida
You were so respectful to Mrs Susan, wow! You are very sweet. Am sure she appreciated your respect and therefore you did not hear weird noises and things moving by themselves.
Hi Lesley I am so happy to have you here showing us all those á atic so high, I never see something so wonderful like that house 🏠, It was a nice journey with you Lesley. I’m from 🇧🇷 Brazil 🙏💓🤍so many thanks 🙏
This was an amazing place. WOW! It's so big. To think that once there may have been some 10 to 14 people living in this huge place. Lesley, when you showed the attics, and the roofs, I thought that maybe this house(s) was built inside a barn or another large building. Strange place. At least it served many people. Thank you for this wonderful documentary.
Hello Lesley and Jordy! Very strange design of the house. But probably when Susan married one of they parents lived in the first house and then built the other connected. But probably we are never known the true. Thank you for your exploration! Stay safe 😷 💖 😊 🥰 👍
I have a desk similar to the one in the house you are in. It was my mother's, given to her by my father shortly after they were married. It's almost 100 years old. I'm 70. Here in the US. It's called secretary desk. A smaller version of a roll top desk. The difference being the size but it has the drop down surface to write on, whereas the roll top does not. I truly enjoy the videos you make, and applaud you for the respect you have while making your videos. Thank you for this.
Wow what an interesting home that is almost clean, I like this one, I wonder if anyone empty that pot of water out? Hate to see the water drip to the floors, hopefully someone will buy this house even it only one bathroom. Interesting layout of this house. I enjoy watching this video. 😊
Hi😁👋 from New Caledonia how is the outside of the house. was there a garden? anyway, thanks for the visit. very nice inside. So many bedrooms...and a pram for a baby.
Hi Leslie, what a wonderful place, and the hardwood floors were absolutely amazing! Also her antique furniture. I loved all her paintings, especially the one of the red roses.🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

You are brave of searching those hause that has been left for so many years. It was sad to know their story. Hoping the relatives of this owner will take care of this property.
Another great video, as usual. I know Singer was a very popular company, but I have to say, the last thing I expected to see in your videos was a Ford Fiesta! Ha! Thank you for letting us join your amazing adventures!
It’s so sad to see that her stuff just there, it’s not being loved. Leslie, you look great with the beard & mustache! 😻 thanks for showing us this lovely home with beautiful furniture!
Another great video 👍 I feel bad for the lady to live alone...she surrounded herself with beautiful things at least. I hope she had family and friends to visit and share her home with. Thank you for sharing.
Once again a beautiful house the furniture is beautiful thank you so much for your attention to detail for a very short moment you bring the house alive love from Wales
Another great story about this house and the lady who lived there last shame nobody is going to live there again its such a beautiful big house that needs to be saved great filming guys.
A splendid tour of a unique home filled with wonderful, intricate vintage antiques; amazing stuff, really. Appreciate the manner in which you paid homage,, honor and respect to the deceased owner of the house. Great job, very nice.
I use a lawnmower like one in vid now. I bought it after my last mower quit on me. I love it. Easy to push and cuts great but not as great as electric/gas mower but it gets the job done. No gas/oil to worry about. Great video!
It looks as though she had a good life, was happy, kept a very clean house. There are many life situations far worse than living alone. I have lived happily single, living alone since 2012. It's a good life.
I know Luxembourg very well as I was stationed in the U.S. Army about 45 km across the border in Germany. It was very old fashioned in Germany where the farmers drove their tractors to church on Sundays but just across the river/border in Luxembourg, it was very new and modern! Beautiful countryside with villas and modern conveniences unlike across the river in Germany where I witnessed a farmer pushing a plow as his wife pulled it!!!
The calendar in the kitchen on December 6 says 68 ans. Didn't she have a birthday then? The last sheet of the calendar. It is very sad. Greetings from Bulgaria and thanks for everything you do for the forgotten homes and their owners...
Honestly, the first room look more like a craft room and the second room would have been the dining room....very nice home... And it's obvious someone maintains it.... Or at least tries to.
Omg!! I love that house. I love a house that goes on and on. Different cubbies, staircases that gi different places. That would be my kind of house! Lol. I loved it. Thank you for the detour. 🙏💚
As a fellow Mrs. Susan, there is such a large space to explore. I always wonder how homes in Europe and Canada heat those attics and basements when no one is staying there. Must be expensive! Thanks for tour!❤️
Dalle mille stanze sempre in movimento. Grazie ragazzi per tutti i viaggi e racconti. E sempre con grazia.
@Bos of Decay, What a gorgeous home this is. The coffee table was covered with sigar labels. My hubby was a sigar smoker so I'm familiar with most I saw. This home is also very clean compared to most abandoned homes I saw here.
What a video still full of emotion ! We always have the impression to follow you on tiptoe, wherever you go, with a lot of respect for the ancient inabitants of the places. THANK YOU 💖💖💖💖
Hi Lesley, Wow that surprising to only have a ladder to enter Susan`s house, I wonder how she got food to eat when she got older...she couldn`t of been able to go to grocery store? They call that room of where Susan`s clothes are with 2 tall dressers are A clothes closet & now is called walk-In closet! Even thou the dresser doors were open, I would of closed all the doors to preserve her clothes from the roof that will eventually collapse! The Accounting Desk then is now called Secretary Desk. Again you should of shut the doors to the cabinet, even if their open, to preserve all the glasses inside! The water than ran in sink, was only what water existed in the sink faucet...but then it would stop! The whole house was beautiful & so many rooms not even lived in, but the rooms that have furniture was the best! Thanks, Lesley for another great adventure of this Abandon mansion in Luxembourg! Stay safe & take care, love you from USA
Thank you for this video...Mrs Susan must have been an amazing, strong and independent woman. Somehow she reminded me of a friend who passed away a few years ago.
I very much look forward to Sundays when a new video comes out and it was a nice surprise to have one yesterday when I least suspected one! Thank you! I keep coming back because of the respect you give to the home and the people that no longer live there. What I look for in each video is the sewing machines that are in most everyone you have done (reminds me of my mother's singer with the pedal). Thank you for what you do! Dennis
I love the respect that you show for the homes that you explore, you invest a lot of thoughtful things into what you say and how you act In all the homes that i have had the pleasure of seeing you explore and tell about, you give life back to them and their families once again even if for a little while, and share their wonderful belongings that they left behind.was really cool that you got to come to the states, hope you enjoyed your self while here and got to do some fun things, hope all that you met were nice and pleasant to you, may God watch over you and protect you and keep you safe every where you go, until the next time.

I could not agree with you more. Such a lovely place! I hate when photos are left. Hi, Lesly. I pray you are all well. Stay safe!
The home is old. Lot's of additions and modernizing over the decades - perhaps centuries. Not unusual to find in Europe.
Another great vlog enjoyed immensely

I agree. I hope she didn't make rabbit fur coats!

@@isabel_sigrid_ Hola Maria me da gusto saludarte🤜🤛
Abrazos 🧡!!
@@petrapatzan6327 gracias muy amable.
Such a beautiful home!
i love your videos❤️🔥!!! I'm always looking forward to it!!!!!!!!!!😘😘😘😘😘
What a beautiful old home. Hope someone with money can buy and restore it. She was a lovely lady. Great explore Leslie!!
I agree with you be worth fixing up I wish I was rich I do that if I had the money beautiful home
Another great video 👍
I feel bad for the lady to live alone...she surrounded herself with beautiful things at least. I hope she had family and friends to visit and share her home with. Thank you for sharing.
Great to see your videos again I enjoy them so much take care of yourself. Love from Texas
Looks to me like she tortured rabbits ... hopefully she met up with those poor rabbits in the afterlife ...
The ' accountancy desk' is often called a secretary in the antique/ furniture business.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home with us, I loved every minute of it ❤
wow so cool old house so sad see it go down 5 years i so glade that house got front door go out side ty for video this
the end music..is such a perfect ending to all there explorations.
The calendar in the kitchen on December 6 says 68 ans. Didn't she have a birthday then? The last sheet of the calendar. It is very sad. Greetings from Bulgaria and thanks for everything you do for the forgotten homes and their owners...
Good paying attention to detail.
Honestly, the first room look more like a craft room and the second room would have been the dining room....very nice home...
And it's obvious someone maintains it.... Or at least tries to.
Thank You 😊 💓 Very Much fFor Another Epic Adventure Wonderfull Furniture Left Behing In The Very Large Home Love ❤ It
Canada is nothing like Europe.
Dalle mille stanze sempre in movimento. Grazie ragazzi per tutti i viaggi e racconti. E sempre con grazia.
I love you. Buenos Aires Argentina
@Bos of Decay, What a gorgeous home this is.
The coffee table was covered with sigar labels. My hubby was a sigar smoker so I'm familiar with most I saw. This home is also very clean compared to most abandoned homes I saw here.
How sad it must have been to be alone and no one to live in that home after she passed. But such a beautiful home thank you. 😊
Thank you for a video on a Wednesday. A nice surprise to break up the week.
Thank you for this video...Mrs Susan must have been an amazing, strong and independent woman. Somehow she reminded me of a friend who passed away a few years ago.
I love your videos! I love it when you say, "Wow!" Expresses all the emotion of the moment! I love you!
Dennis
Beautiful home!🦋💓🦋
Thank you so much for sharing
The sewing machine might be a Treadle.
It gets power by a pedal that is pumped by someone's foot.
It does not need electricity.🌻
I love the respect that you show for the homes that you explore, you invest a lot of thoughtful things into what you say and how you act In all the homes that i have had the pleasure of seeing you explore and tell about, you give life back to them and their families once again even if for a little while, and share their wonderful belongings that they left behind.was really cool that you got to come to the states, hope you enjoyed your self while here and got to do some fun things, hope all that you met were nice and pleasant to you, may God watch over you and protect you and keep you safe every where you go, until the next time.
Wowww... I am blown away from such a beautiful adventure u too us in. TY Love from AZ US
Omg. What a beautiful house.
