    Just my opinion but I think he should ditch the shuffle forward trigger movement and remain still for longer. It will help him judge length better. From a "style" perspective I also am a fan of bat down for spin like Ponting and Kallis rather than bat up. You naturally generate more hand speed particularly when advancing because the bat pushes back and up with the first movement forward.
