Hi coaches, my 13 year old has a long term habit of backing away from quick short balls or balls bowled around his legs. I thought this habit will go over time but it hasn't. Any ideas/ drills?

Hey Nitin, its probably a confidence thing, start of really slow untill he is comfortable, then slowly up the pace. You can also use tennis balls to build some confidence as the player wont get hurt if they mess up

Both are fine, just make sure your weight is infront of your back foot and your bottom hands arm is extended
