Love this song
Love his hair so cool
Best song they ever did...Dirty White boy & proud of it. Texas...74 years young ..!!!
Love this one...
Youngsters 😂
Love this song so much Always have to turn it way up
The first half of the decade it was Three Dog Night who were one of the non stop hit makers. Starting in March, 1977 Foreigner took over that department, grinding out the classic hits. After "Head Games" in late 1979 they laid off about a year & a half and came right back again for more hits. An amazing band that I can't describe entirely accurate with my own words. They should have been in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 30 years ago.
I'm impressed!
Great vocals by Lou Gramm, killer drums from Dennis Eliott and superb guitar riffs from the main man, Mick Jones. What's not to like.🎸🎸🎸☠️
That really was an all star band....Dang... just don't make em like this anymore....
"What's not to like.🎸🎸🎸☠️
60" - only your fake and shitty avatar LOL!! P.S. I love this tune !
🏆
There is ONE thing I don't like about this song .................................................................................................................................
it has an end. This great Foreigner-song should be endless ....... 😊
Lou Gramms voice, incredible!
Why don't they make great music like this anymore? I mean, who else out there thinks this rocks on 45 years later?
This 60's dude does still !
I’m 50 .. just popped this tune on to practice for a reunion jam this summer …lol
Hell yeah! - 1979- 1980, I heard it 3 times per day! - Awesome!
Because it is politically incorrect for white people to make great music singing about being white!!! 😎
First heard this tune in grade school. Just heard it again four decades later and I cannot get it out of my head. Awesome raw rock. Loved these guys until they started asking what love is.
hey I'm 71 and I'm still loving it
Am 66 and still love it
Same. It was a great time!
55 and still rocking this.
60 and still playing the drums to this album!
I'm 59 years old and 👍💯💯🤬😡😭 still rockin 2 this song 🤣🤣🤣😔💪💪❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Timeless!!! I still play the whole album of Head Games to this day.
A masterpiece
Kick ass Foreigner, u guys are one of the Best bands out of the 70's, Lou Gramm top rock n Rolla voices ever..
This song should have 1 billion views... awesome rock and roll. Lou and Mick at their best. Great rhythm section. Miss these days like crazy..
TRUMP CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.
How true, man!!! I miss those days reverently! This song off of Foreigner's 1979 album "Head Games" came out when I was in Junior High School and I was just 15 years old.
Today, I'm 59, and I still Rock out in my car like a teenager. This, by far, is Foreigner's G-E-A-T-E-S-T- song up there with "Waiting For A Girl Like You"
Though they have many but these two definitely stand OUT!!!
This song really captures the pure simplicity of a great rock ‘n roll jam. Good driving guitar riff, gritty lyrics, and a powerful lead vocal. Foreigner is one of my favorite bands. Lou Gramm and Mick Jones were a fabulous tandem.
Y
I love the driving riff.
Damn Straight 👍 🎸 🥁 ⚡
To me foreigner slowed somewhat n I backed away from them. Now this song is totally awesome. Women is another great one. I'm in no way taking credit from this band. Just saying. Dirty white boy, women are timeless masterpieces
White gangsters
I'm only 56
Graduated in 85
Been involved in music about 50 years because of this Amazing shit!!!!
God Bless to all still listening today...
great name Hank.....always liked that
I'm 66 and I'm still Listening to this great music.
Cheers to a great Band.
Same age. I remember my 5th grade teacher asking me 'Is he claiming he is a dirty white boy?'...lmao
You bet brother. Awesome stuff
@@mrneal9079ZZZ
Lou Gramm has one of the best voices in Rock n Roll history!
Facts
🏆
He was the dirtiest white boy ever.
Totally agree.
I think nearly equal to Freddy Mercury.
It's funny cause it's true
It doesn’t get any better! The racing rhythm, the incredible vocal, the chord & rhythm change at the hook…and those 2 luscious Les Pauls…OMG!
You are exactly right. Ever song he sings sound so good. His voice was made for singing.
Any song from Foreigner is awesome. Their music rocks. I wish that I could have seen them in concert 🎶
Saw Foreigner on the 4 tour in 1981. They were awesome.
Foreigner put out a lot of great songs.
Saw them in 86. They were awesome
3 times.
I was just reading that in 2023 there doing their farewell tour , just a heads up !
The drumming really stands out and is fabulously perfect !!! 🎉
Lou will always be the voice of Foreigner.
Every song they do brings back good memories.
Man that dude can really sing
Lou Grahm One of it not THE BEST HARD ROCK VOCALIST!
@@elliott1363 yeah ok bud
🏆🙋🏻♀️
Saw them in concert in Wichita in '79 for the Head Games tour. Great show!
85 and still rockn❤
Shut up!!!!! So cool!! Just turned 50 and always wondered if I would listen to Lawrence Welk like my grandma did. I’m gonna keep rockin like you!!!!
Dirty White Boy! 🤘🏼
You are a legend my friend!
That's what I like to hear 85
49 here. But I'll still be rocking at 81 if i get there
Head Games is my favorite album.
Dirty White Boy is one of my favorite songs
Head Games was easily their best album for me. So underrated. This song is surrounded by a lot of other awesome songs on that album.
My favorite too hands down!
Some great deep cuts from the band's catalogue, Love On The Telephone, Women, 17, In The Modern Day and Rev On the Red Line as well as the better known songs like this and the title track.
Their best
I loved "Head Games" yes a great album.
Add another who thinks Head Games was their best work
I'm 58, didn't know how good they were back then as a teen. THEY ABSOLUTELY F...IN RULE!!!!
I'm really to have tohere that it all my fault
2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees. Congrats Foreigner. Welcome to Infinity.
It’s really a shame the RRHOF is more of a political institution than rewarding real talent!!!! Foreigner should have been inducted when all the original members were still alive!! ❤. So happy they are finally getting the recognition they deserve!!!
About time🎉
Woke up with this song stuck in my head this morning. Started singing it, and now the rest of the family has it stuck in their heads. I had this song on a K-TEL album (company that sold compilation of recent hits) and as a young man very much appreciated the "damn" in the song.
me too, and now we are here...
😂😂😂 just did the same the to mine with Long Long way from home
Banging tune
Classic Rock!
this is my mother's favorite band ,she's 80 and still rocking to this!
Love it
Your mother has good taste in music.💞 Foreigner has been my favorite since I was 10 years old. Soul sister her and I.
@@tammyb.garland4196 I saw Foreigner for the first time in 1978, in an intimate setting with just 70,000 other rockers! I was 15 at the time and they've been my favorite band ever since...
It's my mother's favourite too
LOL, that is so cute! 🤣😂
Tell her a youngster of 69 lifts her wineglass in homage to her good taste!
(Back in the day, 11 years would have really mattered. Not now!!)
Foreigner ! One of the best bands around at the time, and even today, their music sounds just as cool ! Lou was a great singer.
My favorite Foreigner song. Just love the tempo and the music.
61 year old grandmother here. I LOVE IT STILL!!❤
66 y.o. Medicare recipient here. Great God almighty, this song still kicks ass!!!
❤you go Gramma! 😂❤
Same, reminiscing about the teen years.
Damn, was it really that long ago?
@@michaelmaxim7207 Unfortunately! 😆
😉
I was 13 when this came out....and I was already obsessed with the Double Vision album. Love Foreigner!!!! Thank you for being such an amazing part of my teenage years! Still listening to this day because it is all so good!
I grew up with these guys being one of my favorite bands, damn it used to be great back in the day !
Yes it was
Music is still great.
Those days were unbelievable...the time of our live . The music was a huge part of it.. Foreigner was a huge part of it
I'm dedicating this song to my brother that recently passed away you remember this my brother don't forget me I'll see you future I love you you are and I always have been my big brother thank God for you God bless you I miss you rest in peace Mitch Simon
Very sorry for your loss Rod. RIP Mitch 🙏🏻🙏🏻🎸🎸
So sorry for your loss I mean that sincerely I know what you're going through a lost my baby brother at age of 48 in 2015 I lost my baby sister at the age of 52 in 2017 God-bless you and God-bless Your brother May you rock on for All of eternity.
Ron Ditchen I’m very sorry for all your losses Ron 🙏🏻
Thank you for those words ³. I just found out yesterday that my big brother passed from cancer. He was a die-hard rock and roll guitar player and always lived life to his own Tunes. You said it better than I could😎✌🌻
So sorry for your loss.🙏✌
55.and a half...haaaa love it
Great guys. Met them in Little Rock Arkansas in 1995. Hung out on the bus for 45 minutes.
Lou should be in the Hall. It's a travesty that he isn't.
Thats Very true but alot people don't give a darn about the best singers back in the day or Day's
Nice 👌 👋 try
nice thing you said about the greatest vocalist of the twentieth century,he can sing anyone elses music they can not sing his, actually they are too good for the hall of shame,FOREIGNER-GRAND FUNK-KANSAS all too good for the phonies
Gramm is one of those voices that could do ANY genre ! And this will piss some people off, but when I see Springsteen, Dylan and so many others who either really can't sing or just have an irritating voice ( Springsteen sounds like he's gargling gravel and Dylan sounds like a teen age boy going thru puberty with a sinus infection ) who are IN the HOF...it's ridiculous ! And love them or hate them KISS should have been in the Inaugural Class....they CHANGED Rock & Roll. Those are just a couple reasons why I have ZERO respect for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame !
@@keithsowder275 agreed, zero respect, they are lost in the fog, lets assume they stay there, year after year,oh well
My first concert in '77. I was 16
One of my favorite foreigner tunes. Actually sang it for a gig few years ago. Rock on.
Hugely underated song, and band !! These guys were hot when i was growing up
You know, nothing sums up how much I love rock and roll in general than the fact that Ian McDonald played on both "In The Court of the Crimson King" AND "Dirty White Boy." You couldn't get further apart than that. Rock music is great.
Upon THIS rock 🪨I will build my church 8
I'm 65, I was in high school when this was released, I wore out my 8 Track tape in my car of this band, lol. Then I installed my cassette player and was back in business 😮😅. I'm still rockin at 65

It's cool brother 😎. Yes these kids today have no clue what real rock bands are. We lived to see all the classic bands at their birth. My first concert at 14 was KISS and still rockin today at 65. I'm in Baltimore Maryland my friend, how about you?
Lou Gramm! great voice, and attitude! D W B is among the top songs of any era, and Head Games a top album
When rock was best 💋
Graduated High school and joined the Army the day this album came out. I remember playing it in basic training ond beyond. One of the best pock albums of all time.
Hey im hispanic and i freaking love this song ,,glad to see foreigner finally got their due diligence,,way overdue!!
And I'm, 78 and Foreigner still rocks my soul!

How fucking old am I right now? Lol
I groove to Foreigner
Hell fuckkiiinngggYES
Dude Classic Stuff!!
Awesome power chords !
Love It!
In my opinion Lou Graham is one of the top five best singers of all time
He also sang for Shadow King and his own solo effort Lou Gramm
Shadow King had Vivian Campbell from Dio on guitar
Paul Rogers also in top 5!
AGREED.
Foreigner's first eight singles cracked the Billboard Top 20, making them the first band since The Beatles to achieve this milestone. Thank you Louis Andrew Grammatico.
One of the best rock songs ever!!!!!
Real shit
I love the driving rock!!
Foreigner spectaculaire
Just one of the best damn bands out there hell yeah enjoyed them in the 70's in Binghamton NY

Love this song. One of their best
You can't replace Lou Gramm. To the old days when all this music came out. 2024 here now to rock out with Foreigner * * * *
To me Lou Gramm Was Foreigner

One of my all-time favorites
Lou Gram the original dirty white boy, ty for your awesome music 🎶 🎵
Lou has such a great rock n’ roll voice 😅
Yes, He Does, indeed!
66 years old, bass player, and love the bass line of this song. One of my favorites to play. Just good ole rock and roll music.
This song has such a basic bitch bassline, learn to play something better
This song is fire 🔥 taking me back to the 80s ..loving it
Hell yea ! Me too .
Even though it was released in 1979.
Yep, graduated High School in 81 and jumped into the Army for 20 years....
Fire!!
One of THE MOST romantic songs EVER !❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
I literally never heard this song until today, the radio station was play 'twofer tuesday' so 2 songs by each band, and they played one of the ones they always play.. and then this one. I love it! They should play this one way more often.
YES! corporate radio sucks!
One of the reasons I was always an album guy, not a (hit) single person. So many great tracks are found just on the album, never on a single and often not even on the radio (back in the good radio days).
Not politically correct.
Probably their best song. If not, it's real close to the top. God bless Lou Gramm. What a sensational vocalist and front man.
I saw them at least one time in the 70's. They gave a real ass kickin' show. These songs just never leave your conscience..
The intentionality of his facial expressions as he sings exactly matches the lyric performance! He knew how to do it right! Lou Gramm. Damn.
I was thinking the same thing ❤
Yes. The music just flowed through Lou. He’s a natural!!! ❤
That thunderous sound and the fact that lou gramm is the hottest rock n roll singer on the entire planet is a testement to the stay power of this band and yes I'm a man and I don't care what anyone says, Lou Gram just has it all in every catagory
You rock Peggy just like Foreigner. Love that an 85 yr old & a 52 yr old love jammin to the same excellent rock music
Miss those days forsure! Roll with the changes!
music perfect
I have never heard this song until now. Damn, this slams! Dude's got crazy eyes
Hey yaw....im 64 and remember when it came out and saw this tour in ATLANTA, GA.....THE OMNI....awesome as always...did not miss many of their tours between TEJAS -94....
Hey everybody, I'm sorry and damn confused....I thought we were talking about ZZ TOP, ...just realized this is Foreigner....One of the few groups I've never seen ....We are getting some powerfull weed down here in Georgia......My bad....Seen ZZ TOP ...9-10 TIMES ...love Foreigner, never seen um .
Brings me back to the summer of 1983..I wanna go back!!
Me toooo 😎
Brings me back to 1979 ❤
Keep living it and keep rockin’. It’s our only hope. ❤
You got that right
Goddamn Foreigner holds up over time. Great band, great song, great career
I wish I could have heard jukebox hero when it was released! My whole life could a been different, well the drugs and women would still be there, but I'd have rock n roll for a living!!
You said it. I listened to them as a teen in the 70's. Today, they sound even better. Test of time. Today's music.....ain't got it.
@@terencem8795 I suggest you take a listen to, a) the dead daises, b) Smith/Kotzen, and c) the dust coda! Today's music is just as good! Not counting pop or rap that's dreadful🤷😉
Cool classic
ROCK FAV!
I feel like cruising around in a muscle car whenever I listened to this song. Great rhythm and guitar work. One of my favorite songs from Foreigner. Classic.
Dude. I can picture that. Maybe a red 1970 Challenger with black stripes. Long sideburns. 8-Track tape player. Cute girls in mini-skirts and go-go boots smiling and winking at you. 2 of them hop in -- and you don't even know them! You dirty white boy! Lolz...

Man this guy can sing!!
❤❤❤/Yes.😊
I agree w/ Marie, Lou Gramm is and always be The Voice of Foreigner!! Love those eyes too!!
very good
Lou Graham and the bands vocals made Foreigner a success
Its Lou Gramm and yes, his unique vocal style and Mick Jones controlled guitar style led to Foreigner being the worlds premiere rock bad from 1978 - 1984.
Frosted The world's premiere rock band from 1978 - 1984? ahhhhhh, NO ... I was only really throwing them a bone for their vocalist that stood out with his own "unique voice" that made the band....
rsd338 .....
Rsd338 …. We may have been joking BUT Foreigner was on fire
from 1978 to 84. 1978 - 1983 - The Rolling Stones were at their woeful best as
my belief is that anyone can produce a great studio album. Proof is the Stones
Some Girls and Tattoo You. These two albums sold over 10 million copies.
However, the Stones live performances were shit; I own their 1978n embarrassment
- Some Girls DVD - where they play live in Texas. Check it out on RUclips, they
are beyond woeful.
Led Zeppelin had imploded as they produced one album - in through the out Door -
which apart from 2 songs was also poor but not as bad as the Stones. The
Eagles, Fleetwood Mac were selling like hot cakes but producing easy listening
crapola. Aerosmith were great but only big in North America. This is why KISS
ruled the rock world from 1977 to early 78 when they to imploded. Apart from
KISS it was ABBA who ruled world-wide.
I am biased. The BEST band in my view was
Rainbow headed by the enigmatic Ritchie Blackmore with amazing vocals from
Ronnie James Dio. However, Rainbow could not crack the US market with their
brilliant album Rainbow Rising barely cracking the US top 50. Rainbow in the
short 8 years sold 28 million albums world-wide BUT only 4 million in the US.
. Foreigner smashed ALL their competitors
except for AC/DC who released their massive Back in Black in 1980-81. I am an
Aussie but I prefer Foreigner to AC/DC. Foreigner’s massive “4” album who sold well (7 million
copies in the US alone and more than 10 million ) had more variety and depth on
it than
facebook.com/groups/541168609360804/ The link is for an original Foreigner fan page if anyone is interested.
@@FrostedSeagull Then Dio went to Black Sabbath for Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules, oh my you are giving away your age Mate!
