    Very nice work! I am so happy to have found you. Your work is so professional. I sell Jade to my customers in USA. I totally understand your dilemma about the international postal service. I live in Thailand. Last year, A customer had to wait almost a year for her package to get to Hawaii. We track everything for our customers but there is only so much we can do. I have even sat all night long on the phone with USPS trying to locate a missing package, many times. The Covid pandemic has made it very difficult for sending stuff. I just hope customers understand what we go through for them. Thank you for sharing your skills.

    For seating the shank in the setting I usually use a "chernier file". A sort of flat file that only has teeth on the edges. Makes things a lot easier

    Please don't laught, I know that you are an experienced jeweler, I would like to ask as a very beginner person, what I can do with some scrap of sterling silver, e.g. after making a ring or after cutting something out of a silver sheet. I work from home and I have no special devices . Thank you for your chanel you are very helpful

    • @JayDub_143
      @JayDub_143 3 года назад

      I use scrap silver in a bunch of pretty resourceful ways.. You can ball it up to make decorative elements which you can use in shot plates or just as a ball, you can also make a larger ball then flatten it out with a hammer and use stamps to either put a design on the piece or I have found even initials are useful and then I will add a birthstone to make it a personalized piece of jewelry. I hope a couple of these help😁

    • @DiamondMounter
      @DiamondMounter  3 года назад +1

      Yes like JaNet said if you can melt it in to small balls and flatten them with a hammer to get small round shapes
