Respect for posting the full set. I was just to the right of you in the crowd and this was one of my favorite sets of the weekend. Black Thought stole the show every time he got on the mic, his verse on Ice Cream was nuts
Such an awesome set, probably my favorite from the weekend as well. The Thought verse on Ice Cream is from "Break You Off" by The Roots which I normally think of as a soulful, seductive song. Hearing it over a nasty, sinister beat like Ice Cream was so sick, completely flips the imagery of Black Thought sliding in to steal your girl. They actually played the full, more soulful version of the song during the Lil Wayne set with Lloyd on the hook. Black Thought truly is a master, elder statesman of hip hop, so damn versatile.

Red interrupted a convo I was having with my girls and introduced himself to me during the All-Star Weekend in 2000 at a party in SF and invited me to the top floor of the party to smoke!
