- MY LOOP PEDAL [leetownsend.com/rc30-at-thomann/]
Stand by Me is a song which I have been playing since by very first solo show back in 2010. As the song is such a classic, it's one that I seldom leave out of my set list. Here is my loop station cover of the song as requested by a couple of subscribers. The loop station I am using is a Boss RC30.

mate this is off the chain!
I'm looking for the perfect song to perform with a looper in a talent show,
Stand By Me & Castle On The Hill are neck and neck currently,
Thanks for so much great content and inspiration
Stand By Me is one of the greatest songs ever written and this was one of the greatest versions I have ever heard. Bravo.
Absolutely amazing man, gave me goosebumps!
Dude that was epic I love it! I like the way you ended it with just the harmonies!
Amazing Lee!!!
This is great man! really well done, great voice
Awesome!
Cheers :)
Love this. I'll definitely be practicing this for my shows😄
Really great and this along with your tutorial is really helpful!
Great job man , I'm gonna have to give this one a go on my station now
Man ,
your loops are so great
Thanks man!
If your budget stretches to it, the RC-30 is the way to go as far as I'm concerned. I have had a mess around with a Ditto before and it just doesn't do enough with only one channel. I have only ever owned an RC-30 though so maybe I'm a bit biased towards it.
If you have an iPad, get an iRig HD 2 (can output to amp), Quantiloop (lots of loop apps out there, this is the best live looper, up to four tracks where the RC30 just has two), and a iRig Blue Board (foot control).
This may come up a little higher priced than just an RC 30, but once you start discovering apps for music production you will see that its a good investment. Your next investment should be ToneStack (or AmpliTube, or AmpKit) and you'll have a full pedal board on your iPad.
Then get AUM for mixing and you have a small home recording studio on your iPad.
To add a mic, instead of the iRig HD2, get the audio interface of your choice and Apple's camera connection kit, I have a scarlett i2i. You won't be able to send your guitar to an amp anymore (but the pedal board apps all have great amp modeling), and you'd have to have a PA system anyway for the mic output.
You wouldn't believe how versatile this setup is. Most newer pedals are becoming more and more digital anyway. Why fight it? Just go all in on the digital side with an iPad and you have a small, easy to move around recording studio.
This is really really good!! Love and respect all the way from Botswana! Keep going man, I love your videos and I hope you get big soon. You deserve it, you belong up there with the big youtube channels. Really, really great stuff.
Awesome 🙏🏻
Awesome job!
Great job, man!

+Yra Lavrov Thanks man!
My friend thank you so much for the tutorial video also. I am a one dimensional guitar player. In fact, I barely know one part….lol I am new to looping, and now I can see other ways of looping besides playing the guitar. Hopefully 🙏 I can be as good as you some day, thanks again my friend.
Thumbs up.
You're very good with your loops man!
Thanks for your kind words! I try :)

Thanks so much!
So dope bro, do you got any originals up?
Thanks man, nothing on RUclips yet no. I'll record one for you as soon as I can. Stay tuned :)
Does your guitar strap count as me revising for my English literature exam? Cuz otherwise I’m failing
Hahaha! I'm not sure that counts...
Lee Townsend lol I acc did quite well😂
Nice work!
Lee Townsend it was on Macbeth aswell😂. Also have you done a loop version of with or without you?
Hi Lee! This is awesome!! Could you have a listen to "Give me Love" - Ed Sheeran. Awesome videos as always! Keep it up!
Hey, thanks for your kind words. Yeah, Give Me Love is a great track and the loop stuff at the end is great!
hah lol we have same headphones))
+Yra Lavrov For a cheap set of headphones, they sound great. Big Sennheiser fan, particularly the vocal mic I use live.
What are the chords?
The chords are G - Em - C - D - G
I may do a tutorial on this if people want to see it. The loop stuff is pretty straightforward though.
Awesome!
Thanks so much. Glad you liked it!
