After two weeks at sea on board the Akademik Shokalskiy, Alok Jha finally steps foot on the frozen continent to visit an historic icon of Antarctic exploration - Sir Douglas Mawson's huts at Cape Denison on Commonwealth Bay. After an arduous journey across 65km of ice, he arrives to a century-old snapshot of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition, where scientists and explorers set up their base camp - now frozen in time - to discover a new continent

In the post Now that the ‘Ship of Fools’ is safe in Antarctica, tough questions need to be asked one of the questions asked was:
Did the warmist crackpot's sightseeing excursion to Mawson’s Huts on December 19th and again on Dec 23rd (apparently to Mertz Glacier, though their blog and “tracker” are unclear on this point) cause delays that caused the ship to be trapped in rapidly changing weather which closed the sea ice around them? (continued)
