'One hell of a performer'?? No, she's wooden and awkward. She lacks agility and natural rhythm, she needs other people to teach her every step and even after all the teaching/training, she's poor. She's just a pretty face, she'd have gotten NOWHERE without it.
This is my favourite of all the bunch. Cheryl CAN sing, some people may think that she does not have the strongest voice but she can deliver and has a sweet voice. For me, she has the whole package
She might not have the most powerful or technical voice but this is still beautiful because of the emotion she conveys and her tone. She doesn't try to be an amazing singer; she's an amazing performer.
Cheryl's raw imperfect voice is what makes her perfect- you feel the emotion coming from the heart. She is beautiful inside and out.

You are so right she is just a singer asked by Simon Cowell in 2009 to be an x factor judge. Cheryl came off a show like x factor and was lucky. She is a brilliant judge because she's been in that audition room and a contestants house. She stoid on that stage at 19 fighting for a place in the band

WE GET IT! She doesn't have the best vocals,but the lyrics,her performance and her commitment and dedication to every song she's ever sang make up for it. This song is just so pure to the core,and it's so easily seen through the way she sang it live,and so easily heard and felt in her voice. I've heard good inspirational music in the past years,yes,but this one.... It's a tearjerker

I know Cheryl gets a lot of grief for not being the best singer, and yes she isn't the strongest or most powerful vocalist in the world. But to be fair, she has never claimed to be. BUT I do feel she has a naturally nice sounding voice, I listened to this and found it calming, soft and smooth. She has a unique vibrato, and lovely voice.
Seriously... all those people commenting with "not a strong voice" or "not the best singer". Who ever said she was? Just let her sing/perform and do her thing. She's..."only human". Don't like it? There are plenty of "better" singers out there... waste your time on them. :) Music is about emotion.

Yeah! This is the first I heard of her and her singing voice. It was Beautiful! Beautiful song! Whats ppl's problems? MOST of them cant sing in their HEADS or in the SHOWER much less TRY to sing in public for real! They have no talent at all, but can critique ACTUAL singers/actors (resses)/writers/etc.? STUPID! "Those that can, do...those that cant...Shut Up!" Too picky! Loved the song! Real pretty! People wonder why the world is mean and heading downhill toward Anarchy and Apocalypse? They fail to understand...theyre part of the reason...we all are! This song makes me cry, but for some of the right reasons and some wrong. I love Cheryl, not for her music, but, for the person she is and has grown into. I admit I am not a big fan of her music, I still listen, I do love some of her songs, like this one makes me cry for personal reasons, but I thank Cheryl for writing and singing it acustic and raw sounding. I have lost some friends in life, through war/ drugs/ and natural causes, no mater which way, it isn't any easier, don't take life for granted, take it as a gift and treasure it. Thank you Cheryl, I love you for this song.

I can't believe people sit through 4 minutes and 29 seconds of a song just so they can insult the vocalist. It's obvious she sings because she loves to sing. She has already made her fortune. She is doing this for fun. She is singing live with a band because it's what she loves. None of these people with negative comments have links to their videos. Music is expression. It's a form of art. Everyone has their own opinion but the fact is, she is expressing herself. She is singing her feelings. It's not a contest to see who has the best feelings. The fact is, the instruments all sound amazing and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini sounds impressive. That's MY opinion.

Of course she's not Beyoncé or Barbra Streisand, but she's still a singer who sings her feelings with HER voice. If she wasn't able to sing at all, she wouldn't have done an acoustic session.

Cheryl is on the x factor because he a good performer and she's been on a talent show before and if she was that shot and didn't know what she was doing she wouldn't have won the x factor twice with two very successful singers Joe mccelderry and Alexandre Burke so she must know what she doing.
