Cheryl said about her vocals: ' I am very aware of my ability, I know I’m no Mariah Carey but I think the emotion in the song is what matters' this is a very beautiful song and to be honest, her voice is unique it's not total trash is it? It's quite refreshing cos what I love is soft vocals which brings a bit of emotion which is why I've always loved her! Don't get why people say she can't sing you try it and why are people moaning about her X factor judging learning she should learn how to sing , have you ever heard simon and louis? I'm sure there are far worse singers out there who can't sing this is just cute!

a song much above everything I hear nowadays in musical industry
Why does this song reminds me of anything that's related to sci-fi and outer space? This song makes me want to touch the stars, the constellations and embrace the atmosphere of the outer limits. It's like you're floating around in ecstasy. Unless this is what Cheryl is trying to convey in this song. Dang... I'm crying already 'cause of how interstellar and beautiful this song is. There's absolutely no words to describe this kind of feeling. #outofthisworld #outtathisworld

I think we need a video for this and why it isn't released as a single is beyond me . It is a thousand times better than I don't care. I think a video were she is dancing preferably ballet in a beautiful flowing dress( something like the storm flower ad) would be amazing

***** Okay that arguement is extremely invalid on so many levels, here are the biggest:
1) Simon openly stated that that had little to nothing to do with her not being here. He said she was physically andmentally unfit st the tme and was in no condition to be starting a career here. Her accent was just a cver up in case she was ever able to try again without giving her an initial bad rep.
2) Really, we all had rouble understandin her accent? We all hated her? All 300,000,000 of us? No, very few people ere even know who she is (wanna guess why?). You can't judge us all the same way without knowing the whole story (the US already has a problem with people inside it stereotyping, we don't need other states doing it too)
3) I didn't discover her until summer 2012, a year after she was fired, I never watchthe X Factor and only discovered Cheryl on accidet. I nevr ad a problem with her accent. I never said I hated her, I'm one of themany vicims of a bad system, not part of the reason she can never come here.
4) In the time she was here, not a single sng was released, like at all. Her label literally released nothing, so we have no idea how her music woukd do here, she was screwed by her label, not by every American including me. I also want to add that she did't announce she gave up on the US until 2013, and still not a single son wa released and the label had two years to do so and they never did.
That is why she needs to be here, she did not hav a chane because of the labels and because of past troubles, not because I or other americans hate her or her accent
Simon released her from X factor here in the U.S. She was a Coke Zero model and the show was sponsored by Pepsi so it was a conflict of interest. She was going through a tough time and Simon felt she was unhappy. We DON'T hate Cheryl here.

I walked in watching this on children in need, and with the first two lines of the above 'Ive been holding on, silver in the clouds' I thought she was doing a slow acoustic version of some rod stewart track LOL ('Rhythm of my Heart' I think, the 'never will I roam, for I know my place is home' part, or some loch lomond or proclaimers megamix lol. I googled and it wouldn't be the first time even if the rest doesn't take inspiration from that. Who writes her songs

Oh Cheryl, I've been watching a lot of X factor auditions and have always been taken by her sense of humanity on the show but never really knew who she was till today when I watched her perform this song on the BBCs children in need appeal show. And I'm not afraid to publicly say that my reaction to that performance, was uncontrollably similar to hers at end of the Josh Daniel audition. It was the combination of her amazing voice, the video with the kids, the flawless performance, how beautiful she is, and the song is incredibly moving. I've been looking for that something to motivate the better man in me to step up and make a change in my life, and open up more to others and I think I may have just found it with the press of a you tube play button. Cheryl is a definite credit to humanity.

Petr Žemlička she actually cant. Her acoustic version of this is horrible, shes struggling to sing out those notes. SHes not even moving and shes breathy cant holda note for a second and very very flat.
