Cheryl has never once claimed to be Whitney or beyonce, she's a performer who has grafted her way up to the top from a council estate, she did this to prove she can sing live because she gets so much back lash from it but cheryl isn't only a singer shes a performer, she makes music for people to enjoy and when she performs she puts on a show, but this just shows her versatility as an artist, I think she's done a great job, this is brilliant and her vocals are excellent, I don't get why in this day and age we are so quick to jump to conclusions and criticise people for doing what they love, enjoying it and succeeding at it, it's something to be admired with cheryl with how much she has achieved in her career I don't get why people can't appreciate the music she works hard to produce and why can't people stick to the saying that if you can't say anything nice don't say it at all.
I love this version of the song it's intimate. I'm a huge fan of TLC but Cheryl's cover of this song is genius. Her voice suits this kind of music in my opinion.
Do u know what I can admit that cheryl is not the best singer ever but you know what she worked to get were she is now and she is singing live here. She has obviously worked on her vocals and grown in confidence and I thinks it's good. She isn't Beyoncé but she doesn't need to be.. I really hope she does a truly live acoustic performance on xfactor
I adore this, Cheryl's by no stretch of the imagination the best technical singer on the market, but she gets the emotion in these songs and sings with so much passion.

Really? Either some people are just deaf or are simply blinded by their hatred of the poor woman who always gets a lot of unnecessary flack.
This is, in no way, a perfect cover. But it's still decent and her voice is actually quite lovely to listen to. She's no Beyonce, Mariah, Celine or Whitney or even Nicole Scherzinger. She's simply Cheryl, totally beyond compare.
I bet the haters can't even do half as much as what she just did here, let alone everything she's done in her entire career.

Well said Emily - I'm with you. I was drawn to Cheryl in X-factor because of her amazing personality, and yes, her lovely Geordie accent. Didn't know who she was, but I loved her in X-factor, then I found out she is member of a band - the fact that she sings and dance very well was just an added enjoyment for me. She is perfect!
