Good Grief! How is it possible that your channel has so few subscribers??!! This is the best, most concise, and realistic book binding channel on RUclips!
What an incredible machine you've added to your bindery! I would love a detailed video of how you made the harry potter books, as well as how the new embosser works and how you got the plate manufactured! I love the debossed texture on books, but I bet the machine you have is slightly out of my price range, lol!
Thanks! I thought about doing a more in-depth segment about the process, but since (like you said) it's not really the kind of thing that most of my audience would ever be doing themselves, I figured extra detail wouldn't add much value to the video for them.
As someone who holds HP in a special place in their heart and collects beautiful editions of it, I'll be ordering this set as soon as I can! It's *beautiful* and I can't wait to add it to my collection. Fantastic work!

Thanks! I have those exact books in my personal collection and already have designs for them. The only tricky part is that one of them has different dimensions than the others, and I'd hate to have to trim the edges off any of that beautiful artwork to make it fit! Maybe I could do another edition though.
@@ingeniusdesigns I wouldn't mind them being different sizes on the shelf; I think matching covers would unify them well enough! And they are such gorgeous books

Yep, I know I'm just about the most inconsistent RUclipsr out there, but I do have a couple of book and non-book videos in the pipeline so hopefully I can mend my ways at least for a few months! Thanks for sticking it out!
That's a great question. I went back and forth on this. In the end, since I live in the U.S., almost all of the books that I can get to rebind say "Sorcerer's Stone," and it felt wrong to not have the cover art match the page text. Importing books from overseas didn't make a lot of sense either, since it's expensive and the UK editions tend to have smaller dimensions, so I would need to manufacture an entirely new set of dies for the smaller cover art. In the end, if there's enough demand to justify it, I might consider doing an original/correct version, but it's unfortunately impractical for now.
@@ingeniusdesigns that’s completely understandable and I thought that might be the case. As a non American I have never owned a Sorcerer’s Stone version of the book and it would just feel wrong to do so. I love your designs and hope they do really well for you.

I'm now finishing rebinding my paperback Tolkien books and already working on the designs for rebinding Harry Potter next. While I'll be using book.cloth instead of leather ('cause I simply can't get access to it in my country and buying online would be extremely expensive and a gamble) and will have to stick to HTV and weaving (which I've grown to hate to be honest lol), I'm definitely going to take inspiration from your book covers (mostly the spine) if you don't mind 😅 And speaking of your book covers, do you ship internationally? And do you plan on having actual proper leather editions available?
Hi there! I'm flattered that you would take inspiration from my work. Yes, I do ship internationally! As for genuine leather, it's a work in progress. I initially thought that it would be simple to add it to my offerings, but the task has turned out more complicated than expected for multiple reasons. That's the plan eventually. It took several months of experimentation to figure out how to get consistent high quality results with the vegan leather. I have started that experimentation for genuine leather as well but I don't want to release a product until I'm satisfied with its quality.
Thanks for asking about the colors. If people are interested enough in my bindings, that is something that I definitely want to be able to offer in the future. Thankfully changing the color of vegan leather should require a lot less experimentation to succeed than changing the leather itself would.
