Lovelies, this is my last body shape video, I hope they help you so much and have fun dressing up! Subscribe for good luck! bit.ly/2Z2kQr5
I have been waiting for this video! I am a definite rectangle but short😳. And post menopausal. NOT a model, definitely. V-neck is a definite great tip. Thank you!
as I promised love x
@@ms.frederique yes, you did 😉👍🏼
I am a rectangle and yet I am very short and slim. So difficult to find clothing that is not too big. J. Crew has Petite 000 and xxsp. Great tips for dressing my body type. I love the Chinese top! Love the classic look and follow it. I love flare jeans and still have some. I find boot cut slim pants flattering and clothing to give the illusion of curves.
Have you seen Petite Dressing? She has a RUclips video, but also a clothing line for petite women. She and Frederique are two of my favorites -- fun and smart!
i have done a lot of videos about petite please watch them thanks xxx
@@ms.frederique Hi Fredertique, where is the petite video?
It’s not a bit easy to dress a rectangle, everything is too tight in the waist. So, we have to size up, making garments too big everywhere else. Clothes are designed for hourglasses.
Thank you so much for watching xxx
Right! I've exactly the same problem.
Exactly!!! I cannot have lunch at work without unzipping pants :(
I was wondering about that because I am a rectangle that most everything does NOT look good on me. 😂
I’m a tall rectangle and enjoy my body type. As much as I like the style, I tend to avoid puffy shoulder tops because my shoulders are pretty broad. I would definitely have to wear something that flared out into an A-line on the bottom half to pull it off. Thanks for the style video.
Love that!
How did you come to enjoy your body? Silly question but I’m having trouble accepting being a rectangle. My shoulder are quite broad too and I’m tall
I just finally realized that I have a rectangle body shape. Also I have a long torso, and my widest part is the crease of the hip. So I have emphasized my waist with belts and high waisted pants and skirts. After watching this video, I will take a look at sweetheart necklines. I have always loved V-necks. I just bought a gorgeous white linen dress at Banana Republic, and I now know why it looks so good on me: it has a deep wide V neck, short Dolman sleeves that add volume at the top, it comes in at the waist, and flares out into a wider hem a few inches below the ankle. I feel like Grace Kelly in To Catch a Thief in it!
First!! Finally the one for me ☺️☺️
second.
woohoo!
Great advice. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
I have this type. My tops are larger than my bottom. Kinda straight looking. I prefer longer coats or jackets. Jeans are tricky for me. I love a flare pant..prints are definitely my friend.
Dresses are my friend to create volume on the bottom. Great video!
fabulous thank you xxx
Hi! Thanks for the video but in my personaI opinion, I think there are petite women with rectangle shape as well. Also, what about for women that have rectangle/apple shape due to menopause? I am one of those. Any suggestions?
I will recommend to dress as a petite first :) I did a lot of videos about it xx
Love this video!
Loved all the tips, thanks!
What a sweet comment, I'm glad you like it xx
Yay that's me
My adult daughter is a rectangle and I LOVE going shopping with her -- everything looks fabulous on her! The trick becomes just selecting items that fit into her style and lifestyle. What a problem, right??!
I hope my video helps xx
@@ms.frederique SO Much!! That's why you're one of my favorites
I wish I could give 10 x 👍 thank you for this video 👌
hahaha so cute thank you so much xxx
Petite rectangle here;). Why on earth would we be tall, lol.
It is indeed a rahther easy bodytype to dress, though a lot of clothes are actually too big: lots of trousers over here in North Western Europe tend to have "build in big hips" if that makes sens? That looks weird if you hardly have any hips at all.
Thank you for sharing and liking xx
Thank you very much. It is very helpful.
Bonjour Frederique! God bless you and your business as you continue to help women all around the world. Love love love you! 🥰 XOXO
wow thank you so much lovely xxxx
Very helpful. Merci mon cherie.
Excellente vidéo comme toutes cette série 👍😏😉
En plus tu donnes tellement de conseils, c'est top et super complet 💪👍
Biiiiises
super!!!! merci ma belle x
Thank you Frederique. Totally agree about a flare jean. I was afraid to try them when they came back in but they work so well with a rectangle body. I like to pair them with a simple turtleneck. Just be aware of inseam. If you are 5’ 8” or more it should be at least a 30” inseam. Otherwise the pants look to short and wide.
I am rectangle body shape; 5'4" slim. My favorite blazer is single button. slight shoulder pads, fitted which gives an illusion of a waist. Love colorful dusters with skinny jeans. Thanks for the great tips! Haven't tried a peplum style yet:)
Very nice!
As always great video and great tips. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I was a pear, but apparently I was at a cusp so imagine my surprise when I measured myself and realized I was suddenly a rectangle because my shoulders broadened. Some elements are the same but I'm looking forward to see how my style evolves from here.
Great video 👍 I'm a rectangle and petite, loved all the helpful tips thanks 👌 oh and I loved wearing flares in the 70s I was in my teens and thought I looked cool 😂😂
What a sweet comment, I'm glad you like it xx
Love your videos!!
merci xxx
You are always so funny I love you thanks so much cause I have rectangle body. I appreciate you ❤️😍
merci!!!
I'm a plus size rectangle shape...tall, yes but definitely not athletic. Would your recommendations work for this?
5'9, 190lbs, and large bust. Not everything works on me.
Ditto!
watch all my body shape videos and pick up some tips to apply to your body with what you feel confident x
Same!
I am not rectangle. I just adore this body type but I do not have it and when I buy for my fantasy body (rectangle) I am always disappointed and have to return these clothes. Now I know my problem. I will “shape up” and save myself disappointment and returns! Love, love, love you! See you next time! ❤️ Suzy
so mind of you thank you suzy xxxx
I’m definitely a rectangle but not tall, thin nor athletic. I also have a large bust, but narrow shoulders and hips, I just don’t have much waist definition, at least anymore. Before menopause, I was an hourglass. I didn’t gain weight, my waist just thickened, which is common.
Thank you for sharing and liking xx
I have curly hair so I have to be careful with puffy sleeves otherwise I look like a koala and I am not tall either. Everything you talk about makes sense and my wardrobe surprisingly reflects this except I tend to go to boot cut jeans rather than the accentuated flares.
Thank you for sharing and liking xx
Loved you. You’re funny.
Love all your videos
thank you lovely for your kindness xxx
Thank you for this and all of your videos! I’m was an hourglass until menopause so now rectangle because my waist has grown 5”. 😢
I’ve never had an “athletic” body so not a true rectangle. I need to lose 10# which begins today.
I'm tall, but no longer lean. The Lunar New Year eating got me good.
Well, I'm a plus sized rectangle.. that's so hard to find things
Agree! Nothing fits properly. So frustrating. Everyone recommends belts but I just find they make me look like a sack of potatoes.
Thank you Frédérique! I struggle with my body shape because I have measurements of a rectangle but I’m only 5’ 4” with a shorter torso and longer legs, and thick ankles - I dislike my ankles:(. Any suggestions?
Interesting examples of things that look well on this body shape. It does seem it may be the easiest type to dress. I hadn't noticed until your presentation. Well, it ain't me, so there you go.
Thank you so much for watching xxx
Fantastic advice! Thank you! This is my body type and I sometimes look like a tomboy or too put together. So it’s all about balance? I live in rainy Seattle so…
yes balance and add curves with fabrics and shapes x
More on short and long tops with pants s'il vous plait? Tunics?
frederique-masterclass.thinkific.com/courses/the-styling-course
Can be difficult because you can be a rectangle shape with a short torso
I'm a rectangle with curves if that makes sense. So I don't need to create curves. So confusing. I'm also petite. 5'0''. I'm also 1 inch in the waist away from being an hourglass. I think I'm a "VASE" body shape like Kate Winslet. I wish people would talk about the "Vase" body type more.
I know these are very lovely ladies - this is my daughters shape! I am petite.
sweet xxx
I think you should make for petite rectangle
All these women have great camera angles on TV.
I’m a natural 32 waist after I lost weight. I have no hips so I’m basically a tree trunk. One day I might accept my body but I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy it.
I have a rectangle body but I have a lower belly pooch. I find it very hard to style. I’m very thin but every time I try to hide it it hides any curves I may have. It just makes me look completely straight instead of curves. Anything fluffy in the front to hide it only makes me look more pregnant.
❣️
Thanks for the video. I'm a rectangle, but I'm just 157 cm.... not tall
Thank you lovely, have a fabulous day xxx

Hi Frédérique, I hope you can help me because I’m confused. I’ve been waiting for the rectangle shape to come out in your videos but the problem for me is that my waist is almost the same as my hips. It’s just my genetic shape and I am a very petite person, My waist just doesn’t indent, I just go straight up and down.. So, if I try to buy pants that fit my 36 inch waist the rest of the pants are huge on me including the butt and the legs. Help please😀🙋♀️
get pants with an elastic at the back to fit your better, and you can rebalance your silhouette by adding volumes good luck x
OMG girl I have the same problem!! Mostly I wear dresses but sometimes I'd like to put some smart pants on, for the office.. I end up unzipping my pants once seated...
😍😍😍
thank you x
I loved this video, one of my favourites! That is my body shape and all these tips makes sense! No wonder puffy sleeve tops look good on me, amazing tips
merci xxxxx
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😍😍💞💞💞👍
lots of love xxxx
I don't find it easy as a rectangle body that has had three babies and now got a fupa.
It's not easy. I am only 5'1 and have a large bust. However my shoulders, waist and hips are approximately the same
P.S. Where is Oscar?!
he is good :)
How is the rectangular body the easiest to dress when you have to create curves? Women with the curvy body are so lucky, they don’t have to do much to look sexy.
I love you Frederique and always watch you, but you looked very uncomfortable in the white blouse in the first video.
wow, you are a charm and your video more, you are a love new subscriber greetings from mexico city.
